Sea Lion Shores the ocean's lure

Roadkill did accept the gift that the wolf offered her. She was surprised that the wolf didn't want to have any of the meat herself, but well, wasn't like it mattered that much. The more for her, the better. The meat tasted strange, like nothing Roadkill'd ever eaten before, but then, all of the food here tasted pretty out there, anyway.

When she'd eaten her fill, Roadkill nodded at the wolf. "Thanks, Oi hope." Because she still didn't know if this meat was going to nourish her or kill her once it settled in her stomach. "See ya." With those words, Roadkill departed from the shore, leaving the kind white wolf alone. She glanced over her shoulder once to see what the wolf would do. This had been the first of these wolf-creatures that'd been nice to her.

Roadkill supposed that there was surprise 'n hope left in this strange world, after all.
