All Welcome
The light snow that had fell to the earth the day before remained, and though it was not as deep as it would have been had the snowfall been heavier it remained deep enough for his large paws to sink into the cold powdery snow a few inches, the sound of it crunching beneath his weight as he took careful steps into the Sleepy Fox Hollow. Golden gaze touched upon the trees that dotted the land, though at the moment they appeared to have sprouted snow. What was no doubt skeleton of trees beneath the weight of the snow that hung on the branches of the deciduous trees sagged beneath of the weight that bore down on the branches. Regardless, the snow that clung to them painted in the d'Erom dragon's mind of a winter wonderland. A soft snort left Sahrotaar's black, leathery nose as he, albeit with great fondness, though up about five different stories his father could have told him about winter and how it came to be. No one had quite the imagination for stories that Finley had, though it was probably because his father was still had a childish mind, living in his imagination. It had been the reason Lotus had left him, but Sahrotaar's mother (Marlee) had taken up for the fairy king's defense and well the rest had been history for if it hadn't been Sahrotaar doubted he would currently be alive otherwise.

He shrugged beneath a tree's whose branches hung decidedly low, the strong curve of his spine brushing against the lowest straining branch, despite that he'd ducked his head to avoid it and felt the cool rush of the snow that lined that branch as it fell loose and plowed down upon his back. A surprised noise left his lips and he let out a harsh breath, giving his mottled coat of creams, golds, browns, and grays a vicious shake to dispel the cold, powdery snow. A shiver slithered down his spine and he gave his coat another shake though the remaining and stubborn snow clung to the tendrils of his fur all along his back giving him a frosted look until it melted. A glimpse was given over his shoulder is disdain. The sooner he found a place to claim as a temporary shelter, the better, though Sahrotaar knew that keeping his body in motion was the best thing to do in this cold weather.
