She had reached a point in her life where she was happy so long as she was beside Tryphon. Whatever else that meant, she did not care. Saghani also had the intent to exact revenge upon the one wolf who had ever wronged her and was living to tell of it, but for now? Saghani was pleased to mend the man she had chosen for herself, truly chosen, and whatever else he desired to do.

Saghani was content to let Tryphon decide the way, now. Having made an error in judgment not long ago at all but a lull in her sense of self-command and ambition. The yellow-eyed wolf was glad to follow Tryphon here or to the ends of the earth. She preferred mountains thanks to her experience with them; they were like another limb of hers, so familiar she was with the landscape. But her priority in life had become not where but who

Tryphon no longer needed daily poultices to put upon his wounds. They were closing nicely, and there was no infection or risk of reopening unless teeth found them again. No doubt there was still plenty of soreness and perhaps itchiness thanks to the thick scabbing... but there was nothing left for her to do to his treated wounds. Saghani inspected them briefly now, and once satisfied she moved to his side and leaned into him.
