When the stag had been felled, she'd remained back, still. Her eyes were locked upon those of the deer, watching as the life faded from within them. Silently, she sent out a wish that his soul might rest easy within Draco's empire, knowing well it would be heard from within the skies above. Naught but a moment after, she'd approached the lifeless body and tore at the stomach with enough force that it'd been opened up to her. From there, her head had raised, motioning towards everyone else that they may join her in the feast. No matter their ranks, they had all played a part in taking the creature down, and so they all remained on an equal level with it. For that, she would not insist that anyone keep away, but rather that everyone join in on a peaceful meal side-by-side.

Once everyone had taken their fill, Asterr would proceed to salvage from the stag whatever she could, placing it aside to be buried for anyone who might grow hungry later in the day. At the very end of it all, she would tilt back her head and howl out to the sky, giving her thanks to the earth and announcing the achievement they had made. It had been their first hunt as a pack, and had ended in success. For that, she was glad, and felt no shame in announcing exactly that to all that were capable of hearing her voice.
