    Teci was exploring her territory, she already had begun to think of it as her own. Not hers only but hers to live in and to protect. She wasn't sure exactly what she wanted her trade to be besides healing, perhaps this mercenary thing. She would be allowed to protect the beautiful land to her heart's content.

She had yet to meet the Alpha male which she smelt all around the territory. She was nervous to meet him, wondering if he would so blatanly disapprove of her as Sen had. The she wolf hadn't said so much in words but Teci was a smart individual no matter what some believed. She knew when she was unwanted, having gotten used to the sensation.

That same masculine scent had become stronger. She realized that he must be nearby and decided to get it over with. Moving forward to follow it she kept her eyes up and ears perked to spot him easier.

Depp had been roaming aimlessly, yet again, around what was his territory. It was an amazing feeling to see all this land to be his own—well not just his own, obviously. Other's being there is what made him having land so meaningful, and he had accomplished it. His father would be proud, and he managed to make a home, no, sanctuary for those who need it. On his search for nothing he caught the scent of another, his nonchalant attitude spiked into a more cautious one, but quickly recovered when realizing it had to have been a new recruit he had yet to meet. Finally having something to ease his almost constant boredom, he would be extra kind to the stranger. As if he wasn't already kind enough. Her smell was strange, but not new to his sense. It was a wolf-dog, him and Sen had accepted one before, Rain Willow, daughter of Lyric. But before that he had encountered plenty on his travels , a specific one always came to mind, he was the eccentric fellow. When seeing who had emanated the smell, his ears perked only the slightest amount and he gave his award-winning smirk. "Hello, there." A tilt of the head was added to the mix.

She nodded shyly in his direction as he appeared, glancing over him discreetly. He was larger than she, most likely since he was a wolf and she was only half. He had dark fur and brown eyes. There seemed to be a number of dark furred wolves in this pack. 

"H- Hello." There was that infuriating stutter that was present whenever she was nervous. She had maintained it when meeting Sen but had grown comfortable enough with Lyric and Rain not to do it as much. She hoped he wouldn't mention it or mock her for it as some had done.

She seemed timid, but Depp didn't mind, if anything he found it as a compliment that someone could be stuttering just because his presence. His tail swayed a bit back and forth, and his smile turned into a more subtle smirk. The girl was pretty, which wasn't always the most common within wolf-dogs, but she looked plenty wolf with a bit of a flare. "You must be a newbie, what's your name?" He asked, the cock of his head stayed as he began to observe the newer pack member.

The look on his face made her nervous, her submissive stance becoming as taut as a bowstring. She wasn't aware that he thought she was attractive, people didn't find her atttactive. Instead it looked as if he were sizing her up, for what she didn't know.

"T-Teci." She said no more than that, she had no more words. Some thought her stupid for her quiet nature or her stutter. In reality she was only timid but quite intelligent.

Seeing her more submissive stance made him quite amused, it was rare for him to show any dominance over anyone, finding it rather prude. Who was he to say if he were greater than another? Of course, if anyone showed submission over him, the man wouldn't object it. Her stutter had continued but revealed an interesting name, Teci. He wondered what the origin could be. 

"When did you join the ranks?" He asked.

Seeing that he wasn't aggressive or openly disapproving of her heritage she relaxed some. She was still tense what with him being her Alpha and all but her stutter had calmed. 

"Yesterday," she told him quietly. She didn't sit as she had with Lyric or Rain, staying upright where she was a few feet away. From what she had learned it was good to be cautious especially around wolves.

Depp was no wolf to fear unless he was provoked to be fearful, even so he wasn't usually the one to bite. When hearing her only joining just yesterday was a relief, afraid he'd been so absent in his job as alpha he were to go days without knowing his members. This was the first, he knew of that is, that had joined without his presence.

"How's Seadog been treating you?" His sanctuary was meant to be a place of freedom and comfort, if anyone were unhappy with it's arrangements he'd feel rather disapproved of himself.

"It's nice,"she made no mention of Sen's obvious distaste of her. She wasn't a snitch. Besides the goods here outweighed the bads. Her short answers may have been off putting but it was only because she was shy that she answered so closed off.

He nodded, showing he had heard her, but didn't have much else to dwell on the subject and quickly moved on from it. "Sen must have accepted you then, she's a bit harsh, would you agree?" Depp was fully aware of Sen's ways, and had accepted them. She may seem stoic and rude and...well, that's exactly what she was. He was chipping away at it though, gaining more into her deeper personality. The male wouldn't mind chatting about her stern and disapproving ways, he hoped Teci didn't believe him to be the say way. The two alpha's were practically opposites on that spectrum.

She nodded, "Yes, she and Lyric accepted me into the pack." She remembered the day before briefly, remembering how she had been tested on her medicinal knowledge and Sen's reprimand of Lyric.

She was hesitant to talk badly about her Alpha, unsure if it was a test. She nodded hesitantly, hoping it wouldn't get her thrown out for agreeing. "She doesn't seem to like me or Rain. I get the feeling she doesn't approve of half breeds." 

Her ears flattened slightly in shame. She couldn't help the way she was born, if she could change it she would. It was doubtful she would ever truly belong in a group of wolves, except maybe amongst Lyric and Rain who were more open minded.

Depp shrugged with as a way of saying, whatcha gonna do?  "I'm more the friendly one, half-breeds don't change my opinion of you. It shouldn't bother you what she thinks, she despises everyone. I just got a bit lucky." It was true, if you were ever in need or searching for someone to speak to it'd likely be Depp to be open armed and ready to talk, even if he didn't care at all. While Sen would give you a stoic stare and snap with her snake-like tongue. Honestly, Depp had no idea if his other alpha despised him or not, but so for she seemed to like him more than she had others, so he believed it say to say she didn't.

She nodded, putting the thought away. Should she need to speak with an Alpha for any matter she would remember to choose Depp. She found that she liked him, he was friendly and amiable. It was easy to like him.

She knew she would have to interact with Sen at some point, seeing as she was the Gamma. How that had come about she had no idea, she had just come to find herself as third in command soon after joining. She could be polite though and bore no ill feelings towards Sen, save for a hope to avoid her at all costs.

Seeing as she didn't speak afterwards, Depp decided it was his time to leave and do other things. Such as find that alcoholic taste he'd been craving all winter long. He gave her a simple bow of the head before exiting the scene.
