He felt the tension in Vuk's flanks but paid almost no heed to it, what with him being unaware of any pain she might experience. His was the way of the animal; tender emotions rarely played a part, especially not in this primal dance of bodies. He thrust with purpose, with alternating stamps of his hind paws on the ground, keeping Vuk locked in place with strong forelimbs so that he might complete his task. He panted over her nape, lowering his nose once or twice to nip and nudge at the fur there, and it was a tightening in his lower belly coupled with the cry from Vuk's lips that drove him to finish.

With several harder thrusts, he forced his way in and tied them together and the muscles that seemed to clench in his loins released. He slumped briefly, panting and whining his way through the euphoria that crashed over him in the aftermath, but soon he slipped his forelegs from around her waist and sought the ground again. The swell of him kept them bound together, however, and he twisted awkwardly in an effort to stand on his own two feet while his insemination took place.

He didn't catch sight of Taggarik at all, but had he, he wouldn't have felt much more than fear for himself, that he would be pummeled into the ground once more. Luckily, the male wolf was left alone with Vuk to catch his breath and tremble from the exertion.
