All Welcome

This time around Kinra decided to check out the eastern territory next to Sebastian's pack. As she entered the foggy forest she couldn't help but feel like she needed to be on guard. She wasn't used to such spookiness. She was brave but that bravery dropped little by little as she continued among the haunted woods. The fog made it hard to spot things at a distance so she need to rely on her hearing. What didn't help was hearing all the spooky branches cracking in the wind and the crows here seem to enjoy this area.

Kinra was hunter as well as a Knight, She knew most creatures well but it was the imagination and the possibility of facing something new was what was frightening her. She kept telling herself there was nothing to worry about however that didn't put her at ease. She continued to step forward cautiously. She was obviously spooked out like a girl lost in dark woods. She counted on making a rapid exploration. She was just going to need enough information to report to Sebastian with.

Yay! I'm so excited for this!

Grey Wind was asleep when he awoke to slight rustlings. He had taken to sleeping in the Haunted Forest since the mist did a good job of keeping him hidden. Grey Wind had smelled pack scents, and made sure to stay off their territory, but now it seemed that a pack wolf had come into the very forest he inhabited. Valen got up and made sure to walk quietly, avoiding patches of dead leaves. He looked at the wolf from far away.

Grey Wind began to stalk her, being was as quiet as the winds themselves. His one good eye stared at her intently. He climbed on top of a large rock, silently, and made sure to keep his eye on her all while he did it. Then half way through the climb he caught a scent... not from the unknown wolf, but one that was familiar to him. But he did not react in any way, his body was in a state of shock. As soon as he got up he felt himself breathing heavily... he assumed it was natural for his old body... but the breathing persisted.

It would not stop and increased every time, a massive pang of anxiety hit him, his body stumbled, and he fell from the rock. Grey Winds' shoulder struck the leaf ridden ground. He felt a bone snap, but he got up nonetheless. He was shivering, and his mouth was salivating. He stumbled behind a tree, away from Kinras' view. He couldn't think straight, he felt images, of his old pack, of his family, of his mate, all just battering his mind around, like a storm might shake a tree from side to side with its mighty winds.

Kinra watched her surroundings very carefully. If this place wasn't spooky she would be looking around for herbs but instead she was on high alert for any dangerous animals. While she was going around she felt the presence of eyes on her. She continued to move but slowly. She listen closely for anything that could be approaching. So far nothing but she couldn't just ignore the feeling as a hunter. There was bound to be something around, maybe it might never attack but she had to go with the guess that something well. She stopped when she was hearing the sounds of quick breathing close by.

The sound of something falling on the ground startled her, almost making her jump into the air. When she turned toward the direction it was from, she saw something move behind a tree. Something big was there and she could still hear it breathing. There was no longer reason to be afraid, she saw the target move so she quickly moved into cover and circled around so she could see what was behind the tree while remaining hidden.

The Knight was very watchful and couldn't help be feel like this wolf might be dangerous with the way it looked. Fighting a wolf of that size might not be very favorable for her. It would be best to just watch a little and then leave. But something was also telling her there might be something wrong with this wolf. The wolf didn't smell familiar in any way. Just to be sure she waited a little while trying to remain hidden as long as possible.
