She was desperate for food, feeling in her bones the truth of the situation at hand. Eshe had to pee more and more as of late. And she was craving things... none of which were ever readily available. But Kaskara required food, for it was known she for certain was pregnant and was fit to burst. God. The kids would die if no food was earned for them... Kaskara with them, surely, having no sustenance for herself! She traveled not far behind Scimitar, hungering, and tired, and deep, deep down, excited despite the odds against her.


Neverwinter offered little to nothing. Rabbits here and there, but they were growing harder to catch. Harder to find, too, with the lack of greenery. But the scent of blood was in the air... and Eshe moved double-time to where it lay. She glanced around her for signs of the predator that had done this... but there was nothing there. Smelled like bear. But as for what the bear had killed...? Eshe did not have it in her to just dig in. Her morality might very well be the death of her.
