He watched with narrowed green eyes as Slancio darted to the side, pressing his shoulder to Teag's side, but the coywolf was faster and dodged the gray wolf, ears flattening against his fiery cranium as he dipped his neck, protecting his throat and peeled back his lips, exposing his teeth, a low snarl rumbling from his chest. Teagan noticed Stark and Grace dragging the deer away, with Slancio on the other side. He was about to leap on Slan, knocking him away when his green gaze focused instead on another wolf, a female, from Saltwinter, leaping towards Grace.

Immediately, before the stranger could even touch his packmate, Teagan's growl, formerly directed towards Slancio was now directed towards the female as he leapt forward, a malicious snarl wrinkling his muzzle as he aimed to knock straight into the female, wanting to push her away while twisting his head to sink his teeth into her shoulder. His viridian gaze glittered with fury as he snarled, "Back the fuck off," the hybrid hissed between gritted teeth, ready to attack once more, while still paying some attention to the catch and his packmates. "You don't touch her."
