Blackfoot Forest here the anthem do commence; love and constancy is dead
years of love have been forgotten; in the hatred of a minute.

All Welcome
it had become quite evident she was no longer considered an alpha of the blackfoot forest pack; for none had come to seek her for guidence in the frustrating and difficult times that had come. yet, she knew it was only a matter of time. amara would only ever be known as alpha aaron's petite wife, and now that her lover had next to no standing among the pack; she was hardly that either. she had been a fool to believe that she could ever have made a place for herself as a ruler over such fine wolves; keirkgaard's presence had made sure of that. none had come to see if she was fairing fine; but plot behind her back to overthrow another without her guidance. none had asked her of her plan; nor her health but ignore her rightful place as their queen. and perhaps; that was not her place either. only a male as strong as keirkegaard or aaron could be seen as their proper leader, for she hardly lived up to the size of an image of a true alpha. she was small, defenseless, little voice to be heard against the great booming baritones of the accomplished males that surrounded her.

loping to a place of peace, she found herself among the tiny buds of re-growing flowers; a delicate pink clashing against the barren ground. but even the ground too, she noticed, was sprouting the sights of green grass; a natural releife that told her the famine had passed. she let out a sigh. they had made it. lovers grove would in no time be restored to the infamous state it had been in; and hopefully, so would their ranks. but for now, she would have to continue doing what she could. she carefully placed her feet where they would not trample upon the flowers as she inspected the ground; looking for everything and anything that would become a threat to the flowers regrowth. demolishing a few ant hills here and there; she realigned her back, standing straight up as a thought occured to her.

what am I doing?

should she not be seeking out her subjects; demanding to know of their plans against keirkegaard? no. they did not need her, or they would have sought her out. they did not need a useless female with no tactical advantages to help their most likely violent uprising against the thunder filled intruder. because she was not their true alpha; she was a wife and only ever a wife.

this looked lonely <3 hope this is ok

He wanders the territory with hesitation, his body low and his ears perked for any sounds. He is healed-- mostly-- but worries that Keirkegaard will show up and attempt to remind him who now rules here. To the pack, it seems, it is still Aaron, but officially it will continue to be the ghostly man.

His wife's wonderful scent floats past him, and he is rerouted altogether. She has been distant as of late, and he wonders why exactly, but has not had the energy or ability to seek her out and ask. He finds her in the woods, among pink flowers and scattered ant-hills, looking angry and confused. He notices this, but does not mention it right away. Instead, he lets out a low chuff, bowing his head in playful respect. She is technically above him, and he grants her the respect that is due. "Have you been hiding from me?" he asks, raising an eyebrow at her and smiling jovially.
