All Welcome
AW :)

eshamun had left the weir, for molech had decreed it. the all-god had shone its fiery light on the sister, blessing her with estrus. arunik'ra had faith in molech's decision to grant eshamun the first estrus; it was her right as ekar-aji. it was befitting the blessing would come so quickly after the summer's sostice; arunika'ra was sure of it.

while eshamun had hastened to perform molech's will, arunik'ra saw to it that eshamun's own needs were met. the firestorm tended to the small weir they inhabited, collecting small assortment of slender branches in her jaws and rearranging them in ways she knew would please molech. it was only by molech's mercy they were here, and arunik'ra set out to pay homage in the name of molech's benevolence.

The woman and her branches intruiged the femme of fire and night. Her piercing eyes watched as she meticulously aranged the slimm branches, for what pupose she did not know. For a while, she simply watched, hidden away in the cover of the forest. Perhaps it was a trap, an intricate one, or some sort of design meant only to please the eyes.

Akirea was not shy, nor was she docile, and she stepped toward the female with her head raised regally. She stopped a short distance away, ears tipped forward against her skull. Her eyes flew from the femme of flame, to the branches, to the femme again, noting that no pack scent clung to her fur. "What are you doing?"

arunik'ra placed the slender branch of a bent birch facing the sun's descent, studying the coruscating and dying light that reflected off of the wrist-like twigs. molech's desires were still unknown to her, but arunik'ra was steadfast in her belief molech would show her the way through divination.

a voice punctuated the solemnity of her task and the firestorm lifted her gaze, settling on the unknown form of a stranger. quickly the priestess stood erect, ears and tail raised proudly. "tending to the will of molech." she purled, a grim smile cutting across her daggerlike muzzle. "have you come to give the all-seeing eye your faith?"

"Perhaps"
Akirea regarded the stranger curiously, wondering of this all-seeing eye with curiosity. Religion and spiritual things were all completely new to the bi-coloured female, and she latched onto this information with great interest. She regarded the branches quizically, piercing eyes fastening onto the female again. "Can you tell me more?"

She was an eager student, it seemed, and thirsted for information. What was this all-seeing eye? Why did it require her faith? And who, most importantly, was this molech she was creating the pile of branches for? Akirea's interest peaked, and her ears were swivled to the female, giving her her full attention.

arunik'ra studied the young wolf, wondering if gratutious molech had provided them their first acolyte for their travails. she could not detect any coyness about the dark-pelted wolf, and took her interest at face-value. if it came to it and the stranger turned out to be simply wasting her time, arunik'ra would dispatch her in the bloodiest manner possible to please molech, all-seeing eye.

"molech is the all consuming. the fire that purifies the world and the fire that blackens it." the priestess raised her thin muzzle, her gaze narrowing as she assessed akirea. "do you believe in coincidence? is it coincidence you are here only hours after our arrival?" for a moment it looked as if the red priestess would pause to give akirea time to answer -- but she did not. "no! it is the will of molech. you are here because you serve a purpose greater than your own. you are here, unknowing supplicant to the all-knowing. molech's mercy to you."

Akirea doubted the female, for a moment. But the conviction, the strengh of her voice melted away that doubt. She fell silent, thinking, considering the womans words about coincidence and fire, purpose and the will of molech. Akirea felt as if she had stumbled onto something huge, and her green eyes lit up with excitment. "Can you show me this molech? Please, can you teach me more?"

The grey and rust femme needed to know more, she needed to learn about this purpose. "What is my pupose here, then?" Surely this woman could enlighten her.

arunik'ra had not made up her mind if this wolf was genuine, but in time molech would show her. she scoffed at the mention of being 'shown' molech -- as if the all-consumer would grace them with their presence! not even she, born of molech's fire and favor, had ever received such a blessing. "molech is not seen; molech is known. heard. felt. feared." she supplied, turning on her slender legs. she cast her gaze behind her in a motion for akirea to follow.

"as for your purpose, only molech knows."

Now was the turning point. She could follow, learn more. Or she could scoff at this idea of molech, of destiny and purpose. But it was not so, it seemed. Akirea grasped this as if it were a lifeline, thinking for a moment. If this molech existed, perhaps she had sent this feiry female to guide her! And so Akirea nodded, accepting and absorbing this female's words. Yes, she would follow, yes she wanted to learn more. She fell behind the woman with her own long legged strides, watching her curiously. She thirsted for knowledge of this divine figure that had suddenly, without warning, fallen into her life.

it gave arunik'ra great joy to see all-deserving molech gain another supplicant; though the joy was a strange type of joy, coveted and secretive. it certainly did nothing to soften the smoldering intensity of her features, nor the brusqueness of her tone -- for only molech was worthy of such thoughts and feelings.

with the new supplicant behind her, arunik'ra bid for the weir's heart where eshamun had resided -- she would introduce the two and, if eshamun deemed akirea worthy, arunik'ra would spend the rest of her night teaching akirea the acolyte's duties.
