Anita closed her mouth. She had been known to ramble off, and that rambling would eventually turn to gossip. Like it or not, she would find herself talking about something completely off-topic without even realizing it. "I suppose you're right. All wolves have a different way of expressing their...personalities," she trailed off. Damn, speaking politely about Ezekiel was a major work in progress. 

With Valette's dismissal, Anita dipped her head in thanks for the kind words. She stood up, shaking the debris that had collected on her underbelly. "It was nice to talk with you," she smiled, gratitude evident in her voice. And she truly was. Lately, she had talked about Ezekiel too much and wished that she had something else to talk about, but she was thankful for her new friend's kindness.
