all of arunik'ra's efforts the last several hours had been dedicated to molech's newest shrine; the first shrine that would mark the malkarian's reign and molech's indomitable will. the large boulder had been discovered only by molech's design -- and when arunik'ra beheld the stone she knew then and there her day's providence. she set immediately to tidying the foot of the altar, her teeth pulling from the dried earth wiry-brush and tangled sage. before long arunik'ra had amassed a smile pile of wild refuge from errant fern and shrub alike.

her teacher she foud quickly, after following her trail for a short while. Her emerald orbs sought out the boulder, and she gasped; the twisting rock was beautiful. Akirea was still learning about this molech, but more so all the while. she did not quite understand the significance of the boulder, was it something to please molech, perhaps? if so, then she understood the significance of this, for it is important to please the fire of purifying and razing. She arrived at the fire-pelted one's side, staying carefully out of the way lest she bother her. She waited silently, for instruction or a 'be gone' she did not yet know.

arunik'ra was attended by another, a woman who was robed in stone and scarlet. eshamun drew near after a time, curious as to what molech had blessed the sunspear with, and was not disappointed. a great monument reared itself amidst the tangle of the forest's touch, and the tophet-woman drew in an audible breath of ecstasy.

"res drunak," she murmured reverently. "we are blessed; he has turned his eye away and given us a safe bower in its place." eshamun pressed her lips against the coolness of the rock, her eyes fluttering closed for a long moment of reverence.

arunik'ra had scurried, dithering here and there in the hectic manner of a squirrel before autumn -- but her progress was momentarily halted by molech's newest disciple. arunik'ra afforded akirea the rarest of smiles, though it was thin and short-lived. "a great stone." she murmured, canting her slender nose upright to motion to the boulder: "fashioned by the hand of molech. there is a powerful air here." she bent down, removing a tangled vine from the earth. "let us tidy it, but do not move any stones." it seemed a peculiar request, but the res drunak had her reasons.

she had only moved the vine's branch a few feet when eshamun arrived, and deferentially the res drunak dropped the plant from her mouth and swept to the ground in a submissive bow. "ekar-aji." the scarlet wolf announced, her gaze cast aside: "we are blessed indeed."

PPing akirea out of the thread <3

eshamun turned then her eyes upon akirea, who stood quietly. when she had given her name, and the two had exchanged words, the ekar-aji dismissed the girl. when she had gone, the canaanite sighed pleasantly at her sister and smiled before stepping toward the pillar again and bowing her head for an extended session of silent reverence before the blessings of molech.

going to archive, if that is okay -- just since it is older.

arunik'ra set to her task silently, though a slender ear was tilted towards eshamun as she spoke to akirea. their conversation was quiet and short and before long the wolf departed leaving eshamun alone in arunik'ras company. the red priestess smiled wanely at her sister before extracting a deep-rooted vine from the earth. the two would work in silence to restore their new shrine to godliness; and as the day stretched on perhaps later they would enjoy each other's company in the form of an idyllic hunt.
