Using for Scouting trade. Anyone wanna help? He's probably cutting through Donnelaith so anyone from the land of the Dongles can totally intercept him.

He had waited, as he had been told to wait, and then set out after a number of days for his first journey. Skellige had instructed that he explore the surrounding territories and report back — perhaps even bring home a small prize, but only if Tetsubo was fortunate enough to find a child of great quality — and so he had departed. He headed west along the coast, following the edge of the world until it thinned out to seawater, and then doubled back and found a route up along the cliffs. There were many scents here; they set off warning signs in the beast's mind, but the boy was unafraid. He did not care so much if he crossed in to the borderlands of this adjacent territory, for he had a great amount of pride in relation to his abilities, and an even greater amount of prowess. Not to mention, Tetsubo had yet to sink his teeth in to any animal — the ritual of Skellige's witch doctor had ignited a great bloodlust within the warrior, and now he tempted fate in order to satiate it. Yet he was lucky — as were the wolves that lived within the great forests peppering this hillside — for he did not encounter anyone until much later, when the markings he scented had faded and Tetsubo was left to stare out at the sea from the sun-baked rookery just beyond Donnelaith's limits.

murgash was just as slimy inwardly as he was outwardly, and so had taken it upon himself to study those in blackrock that he surmised were his newfound companions. unfortunately for many, he did so without their permission. he was the worst type of perpetrator; he would make a peeping tom look innocuous, a molester look like decent company by comparison -- for murgash took great pride in making his subjects deeply and intimately uncomfortable.

he had come across one such wolf's scent and trailed it leisurely, though as he came upon the wolf it appeared the male was scheming. murgash followed the wolf's gaze, which fell somewhere obscure deep in the heart of donnelaith territory.  "Oi!! blakkrock wolf det be's staring!! who's we killin' today?" he assumed this was a murder-mission, for why else would a wolf stare so sourly at an ambiguous and unknown destination?

I've got no idea what he's doing anymore lmao. I think he's supposed to be scouting so lets just.... continue with that... idk.

He cut through the woodland as he made his way across the heated stonescape, wormed his way through the shadows as if he might perhaps belong there; dipping his head to search for scents, deviating when the cloying stench of strangers and sea salt became too much, and tried to keep his path away from the borderlands — he crossed to and fro on some occasions, not truly caring if he were to alert those that lived within Donnelaith of his presence, for Tetsubo trusted in his ability to flee should he be required. Then again, Skellige was on good terms with these strangers. He would be fine either way.

Someone did find him though — someone quick, and dark, and much more keen on sneaking than himself. Their voice grated in Tetsubo's ears and it took a second or two before the beast lurched to a stop, and another few before the words registered; not because of his dim mind (although he was brutish), but because he was distracted by the need to continue moving and to complete his quest. When Tetsubo canted his head towards the oncoming stain, his snout crinkled softly, as if he could smell something truly acrid emanating from the dark stranger. The questions were curious things — they caught the boy's attention mainly because of the word killing, which was always a thrilling venture, but next Tetsubo wondered if this was a loyalist to his master, or someone he could target with his eternally contained rage.

Tetsubo grunted and gave a shrug, as he had not been given the order to kill anyone recently. A shame.

The scent of his master lingered on this one; thus he relaxed (as much as he could, which was intrinsically very little), and murmured, Does Skellige have orders?

as murgash drew to a full stop the lumbering thing turned round to face him -- it was then the wolf had an entire grasp on how big the other was. he cast him a sly glance, sizing him up in case things went sour.

things usually went sour when murgash was involved, for whatever reason.

where tetsubo might have been stoic and contained, murgash was anything but -- with an animated grin he continued moving, strutting confidently past the wolf with a haughty flick of a bare, bony tail. "uv course 'e duz, mate!" he lied fluidly, the grin still barely accomodated by his half-balding face. "'e sed to foind a noice litteel ladee n takes 'er fer ourselves," it was not a very convincing lie, but murgash was very one-track-minded -- it was either food, or women -- and he had already eaten today.
