All Welcome
it had been far too since since the huntress had tastes salt and brine and the tang of the ocean, and as she flew over the ocean spray, talons kising the swell of the waves, did she, for a single moment, delight in it. but she was a predator, crafted of feathers and steel and might, and she must eat. she rose quickly on a thermal, faltering a moment before continueing her effortless flight upward.

minutes of soaring in lazy circles above the waves, traking shadows that she knew to be fish, and then striking them had resulted in a single catch, some silver-gleaming fish that flapped in her talons few a few moments before she alit on a coastal tree, harded by wind and life so close to the sea, branches stripped and ancient, gnarled. there, she rapidly devoured her catch, holding it in a single talon as she begun to eat it as one would a candy bar.
