This post was created for @Tuwawi however I'm opening it up for all, this prey will need Dice rolls

Ferdie Von Pelt left the confines of Lecter’s Den and headed not toward his den but somewhere else; though he was not entirely sure where he was headed and in this moment he just didn’t care. His empty stomach had accepted the paste he had been given and his mind enjoyed the fog it was given to hide behind. Thought of both Fox and his long lost Kosses, (not that she had ever been his to lose) far from his mind now, in fact he hardly knew they existed in this moment, his mind enjoying the opioid induced cloud so much.
A half a smile crept upon his lips as he moved along the ground, the extra warnings that were giving to him, clean forgotten.

Ferdie found himself a small hill and lay down upon it, perhaps he had been drawn there by the noise or perhaps it was much like the hill he lay upon when he lived another life what ever the reason for coming here his eyes fell a pair of Mountain Rams watching the pair duke it out, over a female long forgotten that had already moved on. The Rams however were locked in battle their large horns clattering making echoes across the tundra as they fought for breeding rights, oh if only it were that easy for wolves.

The brutes stomach rumbled in hungered agony and his legs tucked under him; he desired to pounce but even in this state he knew he could not take on the rams alone. The two beasts, nye aware of what was around them fought; neither getting the upper hand neither wounding the other, ”Come on... come on...” Ferdie whispered to himself. If he were to get anywhere he'd have to wait for one of them to me mortally wounded, but as it stood he was ready to take on both of them, right now. His mouth watered his tail waved upon the ground, and his glassy hungry eyes stared in anticipation.

Sorry for my delay!

Hunger was rife in Tuwawi's belly as she crested higher lands in search of prey. The ruckus of bashing horns in the distance caught her attention as the she-wolf broke into a short-strided gait. As she neared the sound, a pair of rams came into view. How unusual to see them so far from their usual mountain hangout... ah well, it didn't matter much. A meal was a meal!

However, the goats could be particularly challenging to take down, nearly impossible for a lone wolf. They were well-muscled and surefooted. Not particularly fast or bright, but they maintained the ability to out-maneuver even the most daring of predators. The bright cardinal of Tuwawi's hair crested the bluff, like a flame in the distance, when she spotted another onlooker. She deduced it to be Ferdie, the male who had embarrassed himself at the pack meeting following the cougar strike. In hindsight, she felt a bit bad that Fox had berated him so. It wasn't his fault he had joined the pack after such a tragedy...

Her eyes darted to him, to try and meet his gaze. They were far away, from each other, already planted at strategical points. Perhaps this male would be interested in attempting to take one down. Haunter had made a wonderful hunting partner... perhaps Ferdie would do the same.

Ferdie barely noticed another wolf so enthralled he was by the hunger of not eating for weeks now. The potion Lecter had concocted for him help to removed all his inhibitions and one of those inhibitions was eating. In his foggy minds eye he pictured himself swallowing the goat whole without even having to kill it first, it didn’t occur to him that, that would be impossible.

He ears flicked back as he heard a sound not from the goats, new better prey?? He whipped his head around to face the noise, Nope another wolf....

Wait why was he waiting for the goats to stop? maybe this wolf could help him make them edible.

He grinned at her and waved his tail, perhaps signaling to her, he wanted to hunt. There was a particularly loud CLACK as the goats backed up and rammed each other head on at full speed. His head snapped back toward the goat and he began to pant in anticipation, he wiggled his shoulder as he crouched lower still the physically fit Ram’s were tiring themselves out the time to strike would be soon upon them.

@bazi @Fox if you want to join we will be rolling for this prey someone will have to teach me how to do it. I just don't get it.....

Okay, well let's give the ram 15/20 HP ...since he has been butting heads. Each attack, or motion we do, we can roll a 5 sided dice to dictate the physical/mental damage done. There isn't really a right or wrong way to roll for prey. When he reaches 0/15, the ram can be killed with a finishing blow. Coolio?

Their eye's met and Fedie's plume flagged her down, a clear sign he wanted to partake in this hunt. Though he was minuscule in the distance, Tuwawi knew him to be a strong, sizable wolf. Perhaps with her speed and his brawn, their efforts would be fruitfully rewarded. Her rust colored ears twisted, to let him know his signal had been received, before she slunk close to the ground... ready to scatter the preoccupied rams.

Like a cougar, she approached. Silent. Unassuming. Coiled and ready to spring. The art of hunting was her craft of choice, and she took great pride in this skill. Though she was a wolf not known for immense strength or power, she was spry with great endurance. That, coupled with her vast knowledge of prey, designed an imposing huntress by any measure.

Their quarry became successively fatigued with each bash of their curled horns, and blooms of heather tickled her belly as she waited for a golden opportunity. The next one... she would charge. The goats reared up, and just before their collision, Tuwawi kicked off into a sprint. She rounded them on their portside, voiceless in her approach. As the prey staggered backwards they realized what beasts loomed nearby minutes too late. Like a streak of red fire the ember coursed close, fangs drawn into a fierce snarl as she aimed to nip at their heels. They bleated, surprised by this attack, and immediately darted away... right towards Ferdie.

Ferdie watched her move and almost pouched into the frey but watching her move caught him off guard and she drew his attention more then the rams, was it fox, ... no too red she ignored him like fox though, no wait she did acknowledge him earlier. WHAT SHE ATTACKED FOOOD!!!!!

The brutes eyes went wide, bringing him back to the present moment and the rams both rushing at him. His mind may have been ruined due to the fresh drugs in his systems but he acted on years of hunting instinct. He quickly slid backwards off his little hill and down some crouching low he even tilted his ears down trying to dissapear, in his clouded mind he was not there, the rams could not see him. They beast meant to dark over the hill and like a spring loaded catapult Ferdie leap upwards flinging his body and snappinp his teeth, Directly aft the Flanks of one ram and kicking out at the other to trip it

Current HP: 15/20
Damage Inflicted: 2

Startled and keeping toward like a herd the rams would baulk and turn back toward the direction they came, slightly more toward were Tuwawi started the hunt.

is this right?

Almost! You forgot to subtract my damage from current HP. Basing my reply on your roll turned out... (I'm considering 1 almost not effective, 2 somewhat effective, 3-4 effective, 5 perfect hit). PS Tuwa has no idea he was drugged by Lecter so she thinks his low attack is from lack of skill.

Skillfully, Tuwawi had corralled the targeted rams towards her supposed hunting partner in the distance, however it was almost energy wasted in vain. At first, Ferdie completely balked as their prey drew near, obviously unprepared to act as the keystone in this predatory hunt like Haunter and Jace had been. Strength and power is what Tuwawi needed in this collaboration, yet she found herself cursing under her breath when the best Ferdie could manage was to deflect the mountain beasts back in her direction. "Shi—," she hotly swore while struggling to alter the course to make up for the male's incompetence. His latent attack had done little to help their cause (a minor gash in the flank was the only result) and Tuwawi knew is was up to chance if the creatures decided to not bulldoze her completely as they approached at juggernaut speed.

A low, visceral grow rumbled from her chords as her scarlet mane bristled to help create an imposing image. Their efforts would have to be focused on one animal: the smaller, more fatigued of the two. She completely disregarded the stronger ram as it flew fast her unchallenged. In lieu of dual prey, Tuwawi's efforts became fixated upon their singular quarry. Her paws sought a mighty grip upon the loam as she lurched forward in an attempt to delay the ram's escape and latch onto its vulnerable loin. If she was unsuccessful, the wolves would have to give chase and let their endurance decide the outcome.

Okay to recap before I roll:
  • Ferdie's attack not very successful but managed to turn the ram towards Tuwa.
  • Tuwa is small and is not confident she can stop the powerful ram. Attacks it to (1)stop its escape and (2)bite its loin to physically wound it.
  • If her attack is weak, the ram is likely to charge past her.

Ferdie stared at the rams as they went toward the way he had hoped to direct them, but the wolf had not been the wall she had hope she'd be. Was he supposed to be the wall. it mattered not now he had to catch them. Under the influence of a pain killer and starving for his lack of eating for the past weeks he went into a frenzy and charged toward the rams just off to the left of them. To be a wall he'd need to get in front of them, he stretched his limbs out and gained speed with each stride, his muscles would ache terribly for this abuse later but for now he didn't feel anything or pay any mind.

The brute closed the gap his eyes glazed his tongue lolling out of his mouth, drugged or not he was no cheetah, he did manage to get into front of the rams though and flung himself sideways using his body as a battering ram yet again. He snapped his teeth at the throat of the other, Even if he made contact he would not be able to hold on very long his breathing was ragged but the strength behind the snap was forceful he was giving it all he had.

Click was the hollow, unsatisfying sound made by Tuwawi's teeth closing on nothing but air. The Ram's sharp hooves dug into the soft earth as it scrambled around its aggressor, still fleet despite the gash in its haunch, and it left the she-wolf by the wayside. Her silver eyes widened as their quarry slipped away, and for a moment she hesitated indecisively. Should they continue their chase and expend more energy? Or let it get away? Before the choice could be made, Ferdie rushed past where she stood, quickly gaining on their prey. Though his approach was swift, Tuwawi could not help but notice the wild look in his eye and the sloppiness in his strides. He had become a wild an instinctual creature, and as a result their hunt had turned into an uncoordinated mess.

"-tch," she spat as Tuwawi attempted to reel herself around, flanking the other side of the ram. Its pace had slowed now, taxed by its wounds and fatigue, and when Ferdie lunged once more it could not escape. Red bloomed at the goat's throat, and though Ferdie hung on, his grip was shallow. It bleeted in pain, brown eyes rolling from its ordeal, and gave Tuwawi hope that they could indeed fell this animal. She lunged for its hock, looking to grab a leg and pull its weight out from under it to cease the beast's escape.

This has been a horrible week for me.... sorry for the delay in responses :(

Current HP: 3/20

Ferdie readjusted his grip the moment Tuwawi had a grip on the animal and clamped hard there was no way the beast would shake him now, Ferdie's sides heaved and sweat coated his flanks even when they shook the life from the beasts he'd not have the strength to eat right away.

The whites of Ferdie's eyes showed and he could hear nothing but a plaintive buzzing in his ears. But still he held on, Ferdie threw his body side to side to empathize to the creature it should just give itself up to the circle of life. Gasping for air himself he panted though the rams pelt his grip loosing ever so slightly

*Gags on my writers block* sorry

Allmoosttt done!!! XD Sorry I am the slowest roleplaying partner EVER

Tuwawi's slender jaw wrapped tightly around the ungulate's cloved leg, hindering its escape. It bucked in protest, attempting to detach the canids who weighed him down, however their quarry's movements were sluggish and lethargic. Surely, the fight was almost won. The heavy cottoned sides of their prey heaved in exhaust as it searched for any route by which to escape, yet its fate had been sealed. Hot, vermilion blood poured liberally from its wounds and its pungent scent breathed new life into Tuwawi's movements, her belly craving the meal soon to come.

She snarled, and eyed Ferdie's position. His grip was firm. And so, when the sheep's motions settled, Tuwawi took the opportunity to attempt to end this struggle. She detached herself momentarily and adjusted her footing. Swiftly, she came up upon the beast's side, snaggled fangs hunting for the creature's supple throat with the intent to constrict until its life was no more. Aptly, she pushed off strong hind legs, and in the blink of an eye the she-wolf was positioned right at the jugular. No time was wasted as she clamped down, her target nearly motionless, with the aim to leech the last of the ram's energy for good.

Yay its dead!

The whites of Ferdie's eyes showed as he extracted himself from the Ram, He fought to catch his breath, he stomach cried in agony for the need of food. but he had to thank his hunting partner first, intoxicated he couldn't find his voice so he grinned like a fool instead and licked her behind the ear before trotted behind the ram and starting in on the haunches.

His head felt fuzzy as the opioid began to wear off, he offered her a few words then between mouthfuls, Lecter... Pain... hungry!! he lost interest in conversation then gnawing on the meat with fierce intensity. Stated he'd eventually just sleep off the concoction given to him.

and fade Ferdie.... you can post a fade if you want
