All Welcome
Sullivan liked to think he was settling in well, but the truth of the matter was that he was avoiding the pack. It was easy to come up with lies for one or two wolves, but Sully was only a young one himself, and lying to many wolves was harder. He was bound to cross his fibs at some point and make a fool of himself, so it was easier to stay away from them. The copse was a large enough place that avoiding all others wasn't terribly difficult. In fact, he did so by hiding in a hollowed out log for several days.

It was hunger that drove him out. He prowled the woods, seeking something to fill his aching gut and hoping that he wouldn't be discovered. You're just a seer who talks to spirits, he reminded himself mentally. He reminded himself of that hourly, but Sully wasn't convinced it would come out of his mouth quite the same way when he repeated it to someone else. Just don't run into them, he mentally squeaked as he banked around a tree, and spotted a rabbit straight ahead.

He was a shitty hunter, though, and when he ran straight at it, it immediately fled and left him to sulk alone.

like many of the wolves who inhabited the copse, the young man of whom arunik'ra had spoken. eshamun watched with a gentle curve to her lips as he lunged for his quarry, only to miss badly. for him the woman had great plans, and it was now that she unfurled from her sitting position and wended her way through the trees to find him.

"hello," she murmured gently in the thick cadence of canaan, approaching to pause some feet away. he was a slim child with interesting eyes; she felt he would say intriguing things, once his shyness dissipated.
