Close enough that he felt her heat, but not close enough to touch. Her words were a seductive purr in his ear and Kjalarr knew that there was no letting her slip away. She had crossed the invisible line that had been her last chance to hide herself away. For hours, for days — whatever — she would be his. He wasn't sure if they could ever truly go back to alpha and subordinate after this and didn't care. He didn't care about consequences, or that he knew very well the chances that his seed would take hold. Perhaps it wouldn't but he was his father's son, for all it was worth.
