The past day or so Knew had been wandering the coast with interest. It provided a distraction for his demanding stomach, although the beach made the temperature only colder than farther inland, and his scrawny figure only suffered more, unlike a large brute with a strong stature. He was now at a plateau, if he was trained he could've figured out the tone of hunting opportunities available with rabbits and seabirds taking up much of the fields, but his ignorance beat him and Knew continued to starve.
He trembled slightly when a breeze blew over, guiding him to the long grass for shelter from the cold.
