She expanded her search beyond the tuktu hinterlands thinking that if they indeed needed new members a bit of variety might be nice. All she needed was one new members but while she was out she figured the more the merrier and wanted at least two to bring back to Burke. She walked up to this almost barren land scape, with no trees and scattered areas of grass seeming to be the only form of vegitation around. Looking off into the distance all around her she couldn't see anyone but decided that maybe further on she might meet someone.

After just eating she had energy and was eager to explore and find new people. Wanting meaning within the pack she was dedocated to Burke's task.

he is... bored, if he allows himself the privilege of declaring his situation bored. for his madir has always spoken to him while his mind lay idle and she had implanted the seed of restlessness in his weary soul. and she had ever chastised the boy for letting his mind fall silent, for giving in to the charms of void - when there is nothing to do, dreamspinner, she would tell the youth, go out and make something to do. never have yourself naming boredom.

and so the boy had done as his dear madir commanded, setting himself from the pleasant dreariness of the grouse forest (contradiction, though it holds truth!) to walk, delving into the intricacies of his own wondering mind. ysen does not come upon the hard stone of shore, but he senses the change in the feeling of the soil under his step, scents the brine entering the air. he is close to sea, then! and perhaps, from here, he might view his homeland as his madir was wont to speak about.

he is disappointed when all his eye catches is the endless blue-upon-blue of the waters, ne'er once looking upon the fabled beaches of the lands-across-time, but ysengrin only feels the frown come and go and before long, he is walking again.

never allow the mind to grow idle, after all.

ysengrin's gaze fixes upon a hide of handsome palette - greys and blacks and browns, though he cannot tell the colouration of the eyes just yet. from afar all they see of him is the wolf he is, though although he comes closer, they will still find his birth-sex undiscernible. man, or woman? he is man, through scent alone, but voice and body speak of both sexes flowing together. androgynous, he remembers. the word is androgynous.

"hail there!" he calls to the figure whilst he is a while away - not to startle, of course. the boy would so hate to be the cause of shock when he has no intention of doing so.

Ysengrin refers to himself as The Dreamspinner most of the time.

She was looking ans walking off into nothingness it seemed untill she head a calling. She turned her head and stopped in her tracts when she came across the shape of another wolf. They called out to her saying hello in a way and she replied back. "Hello there" she began to walk up to the stranger assuming that they weren't hostile, though she would still be a tad bit vigulent. New wolves could always be wildcards and he wasn't dumb.

She stood down wind of him and his scent came to her nose. Not taking much consideration to it other then to identify some information about him. Standing a decent distance away from him, enough that it was safe but not too far away that she was out of eye and ear shot. "What brings you to the coast?" she asked trying to spark conversation.

ysengrin brings himself to hum a small tune as he approaches the figure. he does not pause his steps in the slightest, not even when the figure picks itself up and draw closer to him. he sees now, he sees the girlish sway of her hips and the frame that speaks a thousand words, sees that she is female and female can be and he offers a cherubic grin.

his voice rings out clear - not deep, yet not as high as a true girl - lilting, melodic. his speech-rhythm is a gentle one unlike him [for he is a sleeping serpent] and he blinks once, twice, as they finally meet, his gaze wondering about her form until he is satisfied he has marked everything he sees. her scent is sweet, mixed with that of the male and female he had met earlier; ysen smiles again and sweeps himself into a playful bow.

"the land that is dry sand and gold dust, the land-across-time with the ones with blue-upon-blue eyes. i thought to come here and see it. and you?"

He came forward with no sight of fear or aggression at her approtch. His frame wasn't too masculine she thought and as he spoke she thought the same thing, but not all males had to be super strong fighters. Just as not all females had to be dainty helpless beings. She knew whe wasn't. He spoke in riddles almost she thought, as if it were a song that needed to be interpreted rather then just understood.

From what she understood he said that he came to simply look at the coast. He asked her the same question and like she told the previous wolf she meet she said "I'm looking to see what kind of wolves are around this area, a bit of an errand. My name is Liekos... and you are?" she wanted to see if this wolf would be a good addition to her pack and thought knowing his name would be the best place ti start.

Sorry for the late reply, really busy week

if we're forward dating this, for ysengrin, this takes place after he gets into arthendal, after meeting burke and malice :D packmate meet!
[table width=60%][tr][td]

indeed, ysengrin weaves riddles and songs and poems - he spins words into tunes and he learns even the melodies of the birds and the snakes, so that he might one day relay all of this to younglings such as he, with white-painted hairs and silvertipped brow. should he have known the thoughts of the female, the youth would be flattered - she understands the word-rhythm of his tongue dance, knows that the voice is not simply a machine to speak, but a precious, precious treasure to convey worlds of knowledge in a single beat!
she introduces herself, and the boy can scent it on her - the smell of his new pack, of his home-that-is-not-home, the aromas of his packmates that he has yet to meet. his is barely there, but it is, and ysen is not too quick to reveal his position. is she hostile? she speaks too plainly, too prettily bluntly like the nobleborn lady to rhyme with him, and he senses no wish to harm him in his gut "the dreamspinner." he says, gifting her his chosen name "have you found the wolves you seek, or do they still elude your sight?"

He introduced himself as the dreamspinner. Likeos wasn't sure as to if it was his birth name or a nickname given to him, or one he gave himself. It was unique and uncommon to Liekos. He asked if she had found the wolves she had been looking for and she hadn't. Since she left she hadn't found a single wolf that could join the pack. Even though she had only meet two wolves she had been away from a long time and was starting to think that she would be better help to the pack if she headed home.

The seasons were changing and with them Liekos would change he course and begin to head home after meeting this wolf. If he was a lone wolf she might still have a chance, but if not she would held home. "Unfortunatly they have eluded me, unless you find yourself without a pack?"

he smiles and he waits - so very patiently he does. ah, he longs to see when the fair lady realises his origins! yet, it does not seem that she has picked up on his scent nor his concealed hints and for a little while the youth finds disappointment cresting his mind and bleeding deep into his thoughts. he had so much hope for her! but alas, his potential, like her wolves, have eluded him.
at this the boy sighs, his eyes wandering to find hers. surely she must know by now! at least a little - if not, he is unsure of the haste of his acceptance into the very same pack that they share with his lord and lady! he wishes not to be yet part of another band of merry travellers and he doubts...
but he is a wordweaver in spirit and duty - ah-ah-ah, perhaps he might spin a story of it for the dear to hear.
"there was a boy upon-a-time," says ysen, slipping around the blunt query, "and he was from lands far-far-away, lands that the eye could not see and with things that this place has not known." does she see now? that he is not from here? does she scent the tribe-markings on his fur? "he was a spinner of words - for this he had learnt the tongue of the fish, of the bird, of the wolf and of the deer. " he pauses, eyes a-glow with the thrill of the tale.
"but then he fell asleep, and when his eyes flew open he found a noble-born gazing at him, and he was glad to sing for her. and he found a lord, and the boy was a nightingale for him too."
"alas, the boy was a simple wanderer; he stayed a few days and went again, driven by heart, guided by the sight of duty! and he wished to return to his lord and lady..."

ysen quiets himself, knowing that that part of the web has not been woven just yet, and he stares wide-eyed at the lady - perhaps, ah, perhaps she shall have more to add on to his story!
