Arrile felt his eyes opening slowly, and the light filled in. The first things he saw was the walls of the den, the ground. And then a blur of white. The light slowly focused, and that's when he saw her. The one he would one day call mother. He tried to move closer, crawling across his belly to get closer to this curious sight that it could see.
He couldn't think much of her, as his vision wasn't fully clear yet. But it was getting clearer, and the more clearer it got, the warmer this feeling he had got. He knew he had some kind of connection with this being, a strong connection with this being. One day, it would be able to hear this being's voice. And then, call it Mother. he had yet to see his father. The pup looked across the being's body, then he saw something more curious along the wolf's belly.
