Meep, tried to fit in Edens rescue with Moonbrooks,  lol.

Kieran squirmed in the attackers grasp but he was too small to fight back with any advantage so he began to yelp louse,  calling anyone to help him, and sure enough someone did. However, as the weight was lifted, he glanced up to see his saviour, and gasped when he saw that the one who had saved him had been one of the enemies, one of the wolves trying to take away his home and kill his family.

Knowing this, he would have growled. He would have fought with all his puppy might, even if he was killed in the process. But, as it was, the wolfess had saved him and for that he was indeed grateful. "T-Thanks," He stammered, eyes still wide with shock. However, he didn't have time to add to his brief statement as he felt himself being lifted from the ground by someone, who he recognised as Eden, his mother.

And nuuu, evil wolves taking baby Kierans hoooommmmeeee

success! the bitch fell to the ground and reek took over with teeth bared and dripping with saliva. he stood over shalon with eyes ablaze, and as jhala stood herself back up, felt pride swell in her chest. they'd done it!! and her handsome hubby was taking dominance over the situation. her only true injury-- if you could even call it that-- was a limp ear. it seemed the cartilage had broken, and it hung over her face like it did when she was a puppy. it was sore, but the sharp pain it had originally inflicted no longer lingered.

it was not reek, however, who turned to attack emory-- it was jhala. enraged that she'd even bother trying to speak like she was some mediator, jhala roared to life again. "shut up!" she snarled, rounding on the female and baring her teeth, "you have no say in this! you are nothing here!" her tail lashed, her nose shoved as close as she could without touching emory's face. "you betrayed the grotto and act like we're friends?! and you didn't even help your pack fight! all you did was ramble and yelp," she growled, amber eyes blazing. her gaze didn't leave the other, braced in case emory attacked.

"get the fuck out of our territory."

Shalon craned her head to look back over the territory behind her, Eden and Kieran had gotten away safe. She tried to see whom had attacked the woman and perhaps if given the chance give a nod to the one that had helped save the young one. She could feel the water well in her eyes, pooling waiting for her to give them the chance to fall. But she forbade herself to let the tears fall, not infront of these vile intruders. The dethroned Queen looked at Emory and Sylvas, the only two left by her side. She stood slowly, not happy with the way Emory was being spoken to, but figured the sharp whitted woman could handly her own. Instead she focused on Reek.

"You have succeeded. Throwing out a family for your own gain." Shalon tried to catch Sylvas's eye, I knew he must be concerned about his famil. "@Streiter find the others." Her voice was hollow as she thought of the future of the pack. "You and Eden will lead the family to safety." She couldn't dare to face the others after the resounding defeat. Silver eyes fell back on the dark male before her, "Be grateful for the land you have won, and pray that we let you keep it." The edge in her voice spoke of her personal yet subtle defiance.

"Reek." Shalon let the name settle in her mouth testing the worthyness of the name. "I shall remember the name."

Emory was tired of the narrow minded wolf before her, not intimidated by her at all. Everything had been stripped from her at this point, she had nothing to lose. Her stare was cold, as she backed away, not wanting to be touched by such a dimwitted leader. "I didn't attack because I'm not so thick skulled to use force to get everything I want. I'm not the one who assumed I betrayed you, you've already gotten what you wanted, why must you push even more." She glanced at Shalon, stepping by her side before shifting her eyes upon Reek.

"You are not who I once knew, you're still broken no matter how many lands you take. You will always lack what you had." Her voice was not harsh or sad, it was completely stoic, without feeling. With that, she walked off, instantly making her way towards Rose and Hawthorn, leaving the group at a trot.

sorry about the wait and poor phone post.

Sylvas was blinded by the ongoings behind him as he attempted to aid Shalon, though the mercenary was quickly obstructed by another member of the raid, taking his attention away from his previous target. A growl escaped the brute as his paws dug into the ground, his body tensing as he came to a stop, helplessly watching their Queen become overpowered by the intruder, Reek.

Brown ears twitched at the many screams and barks being exchanged between the opposing wolves, a low rumble brewing within his throat as he finally came to the realisation that it was all over. They had lost.

Lowering his head as he caught Shalon's words, instructing him to check on his family and to aid the others out of the glade. Truthfully, the brute couldn't help but hesitate. A soft growl soon escaped him as he gave a small nod of his head, paws gradually carrying him away from the scence, though his golden eyes shot one last glare toward the victorious new owners of the glade.

Though he knew it had to be done, Sylvas begrudgingly left Shalon to help the others flee from the terrain.

last post for rose

She felt a terrible pain in her chest, similar to the one she felt when coming across her albino brother's lifeless body. It hurt more than any physical injury ever could and yet she managed to hide the suffering she felt with an emotionless mask. She blinked a few times and sucked in a shaky breath as she slipped over her home's borders. The ground felt different on the other side, it felt unsafe and hostile and the russet girl wanted nothing more than to rush back to her den and wake up from this endless nightmare.

"Bye Ro" she muttered out, saying one last goodbye to her deceased brother before she joined back in with the rest of those that had decided to flee. Everything she knew had been stripped away from her and had been placed just out of her reach. She was fearful of the unknown but had no choice but to embrace the cards she had been dealt. She only hoped wherever they went wouldn't lead to her family's ultimate downfall.

It would have been a lie to say that when Emory accosted Reek for the last time, that it did not stir a wave of emotion within him. However, he did not let it show upon his face. He did this for his family -- for the wolves who placed their hope upon his shoulders by followed him here. Emory had once been important to him, yes. She had been his best friend, but she was no longer a part of his family. She had fallen away, like many others. So even when guilt threatened to rear it's ugly head in the pit of Reek's chest, he still thought his actions to be perfectly justified.

And so, the wolves of the Glade were no more.

Reek, Jhala, and their band of followers stood victorious among the spoils of their conquest. With that, Reek threw his head back and sang the song of victory. The voices of the others would surely follow.

"the fuck ever," jhala said, cutting her off in her first sentence and clicking her teeth. she didn't want to hear it, it didn't register as honesty with her. as her mate lifted his head to the sky, she did the same, her deep howl falling in tune with his and-- soon-- the rest of the pack's. they sang loudly and proudly, the territory finally theirs. after this, jhala would go to get her two sons (and tam) and she would find a den somewhere to keep them safe. that was their best option right now.

The boys were well-behaved, keeping mostly to themselves. Under different circumstances, Tambourine would have engaged with them a bit more, perhaps played a game of some sort to keep them distracted and entertained. But between his mutilated toes and heavy heart, he couldn't bring himself to do much more than keep an eye on them and flash them the occasional brief and reassuring smile.

When a howl soared overhead, Tambourine tipped his head. It sounded like Reek, Jhala and the rest of the gang had triumphed. This land belonged to them now. He wasn't really sure what he thought of any of it. Mostly, he was too caught up in the past and mourning Stark, Banner and the Keep to think about what was happening here and now. He was concerned about Silas's well-being but with the victorious call, there was no reason to think anything had happened to the other boy.

He contributed a short yip to the chorus, then fell silent. He padded closer to his two young charges, leaving them only when Jhala appeared to collect Astik and Tapat. Tambourine stepped aside, glancing around for any sign of Silas in particular, then joined his new Alphas and their family as they sought shelter within the recently vacated and rapidly reclaimed Golden Glade.

He couldn't follow every turn of the events unfolding around him, but he knew good and well when odds stayed in their favor. Next, the Glade wolves all made for their retreat. He.. found himself relieved to watch them go, foolish puppies and all, but could not think much else of them right now. Silas was still processing what was happening and it wasn't always easy, not when his heart still wished to be back at the Keep all surrounded by what he'd known.

But, songs of victory rose up around him so he joined them hesitantly for just a quick moment. Following Reek and Jhala's lead may have felt alien, but it was getting him by and keeping him (and Tambourine) alive. He knew to be happy for whatever he could hold onto and to just keep going for as long as he was able.

For a moment, there was a sweet victory. The voice calling her name didn't even register as she hit home and bit down. She felt blood trickle through her teeth but her victory was only short lived. Before she knew it, she was pushed aside and fell to the ground with an 'oof'. The rush was gone and so was the feeling.

She had thought that her father would be proud of her, but now that she looked around she saw that he was not even looking at her. Not even seeing the sacrifices she made for his cause. Not even caring whether she was fine or got hurt...

Her eyes fogged up as Laurel realised and registered the lack of attention, care or worry from Reek. She glanced at Dagfinn, who'd also left her side, and suddenly she felt like the frightened, out of place teen again. She didn't belong here. They didn't even care whether she lived or died, nor whether she'd help or not.

Maybe they even hoped she would've died in battle. Confusion and pain flashed across her face as she looked at the enemy flee, and then the howl went up.

Her voice joined theirs, but it was filled with a grief she could not hide.

She was an ugly, terrible person who was clearly unloveable, and to feel it once more confirmed hurt more than Laurel would ever admit.
