All Welcome
While his siblings were taking their first steps into creating a colorful vocabulary, Ganondorf had remained a rather silent child. He would mumble to himself every now and then, as if he was having a conversation with someone else. But the second another's presence was detected, he would clamp his jaws shut and instead resort to body language to communicate. It wasn't that he didn't want to talk, but the fear of not being on the same level has his littermates was enough to turn the boy into a mute. As soon as he was confident enough in his abilities, Ganon had every intention of showing up his nuisance brother and sisters.

Today wasn't much different from the others and as soon as he thought the coast was clear, Ganondorf was quick to slip away to a silent area where he could practice to his heart's content. He had intended to work for quite a while, but a sudden unexpected visitor cut him off in the middle of a word. A small yet attractive wisp of shadows hovered just before the fiery boy, it's aura anything but friendly. And while he could tell that the corrupted spirit was not an ally, the young spiderling saw nothing but beauty before him. His baby blue eyes lit up with excitement as the creature only he could see led him further astray.

He tried several times to swipe the wisp down, but it only disappeared for a moment before popping up again somewhere else. It was frustrating and yet thrilling at the same time, and for the time in his short life the fire striped boy let out a laugh. He never would have imagined that his first smile would be shared with the monster that would become his demon, but such things couldn't be known at time. For now he was content chasing the shadow around his home, while the silence around him was broken with his maniacal laughter.

While he had many interactions with the Apaata children, his meetings with his grand-nieces and nephews were limited to their naming day. He had little reason to search them out, knowing that they were still too young for training; and that was all he felt he was good for.

As such, he continued his duties of training the Apaatas in anyway he could, patrolling, hunting. It was rare that he ventured into the marshes, however, where the wisps lay, but a burst of giggling drew him to the place, his movements silent as he saw a flash of fire that could only belong to one of Potema's children.

He quickly remembered him as being the one named after the Demon King: Ganondorf. He hunkers down, staying in the shadows as he chased after a dark wisp. The man peers at the anomaly with confusion, having never seen anything like it before. He is not a religious genius like his sister was, and has no way of interpreting it in a meaningful way. He merely watches as the boy plays.

I am so sorry for the long wait!

Despite the malicious aura the darkened whisp put off, Ganondorf felt nothing but peacefulness beside it. He felt invulnerable while it floated above him and he desperately wished to cling onto it like a child with their security blanket. But no matter how many times he tried, the young spiderling always faced failure in the end. "Don't" he let out, a word he was familiar with yet did not quite understand. Ganon figured if he spoke like his mother when she was angry, then the whisp would surely stop what it was doing. However the boy was met with a rather harsh slap to the face when the spirit suddenly decided to rush away towards the elder male who had gone completely unnoticed up until now.

"Don't" he shouted out again, this time at both the whisp and his great uncle. He didn't want anyone stealing his toy away from him and was fully prepared to fight for the spirit, even though he wasn't even capable of inflicting something as simple as a paper cut. Ahh, the joy of being blissfully arrogant.

The wisp dances in front of the boy, twirling away from his reach. Miraak remains amused at the wisp's apparent conciousness, teasing his great-nephew. Even more amusing is the boy's indignant words, snapping don't! at the light as if it was a impertinent child. He chuckled, revealing his presence. As if attracted by his voice, the wisp darted towards him. Miraak's eyes lit up, and he nosed the dark ball of light, even as his grand-nephew yelled at him.

Unlike his elder, Ganondorf was anything but amused. He let out what he thought to be a ferocious growl, but the truth was the boy sounded more like a purring kitten than the big bad wolf he had hoped to be. "Don't" he let out again when he saw his great-uncle nose the whisp, but to his dismay it appeared that neither the whisp nor his uncle would pay him any mind. How rude! That was his toy and Ganondorf fully believed that the Executioner was attempting to steal it away from him.

So in a fit of rage and annoyance, the young spiderling did the only thing that came to mind. He yelled. Ganon screamed at the top of his lungs for his mother to come to his aid. Even he knew, arrogant as he was, that he stood little chance against the inky giant, so the boy figured if he couldn't fight his own battles than have mother do it for him.

Miraak's amusement turned to shock, then confusion as his great-nephew yelled. The boy's bravado had been hilarious at first, with the young boy protesting loudly at Miraak's gentle nosing of the wisp. But soon it became apparent to him that this child was very spoiled. He was crying for his mother, obviously, in order to have her punish Miraak for is actions, since his own actions were not working. Miraak snorted, gently cuffing Ganon. Enough of that,

His cries didn't last long and Ganondorf soon came to stand still among the darkened forest. His sobs broke the silence that stood between the two while the wisp danced around them with amusement. It was as if it could sense the boy's frustration and had begun to feed off of his agitation. The more Ganon felt rage, the wilder the wisp became, taunting and tormenting the boy into more of his desires. Yet thankful his fit didn't last long and Ganon settled moments after his cry had begun. That didn't mean he was happy with great-uncle however, and the boy made that very clear when the elder spoke to him.

The spiderling snapped his head in the opposite direction and let out an exaggerated "hmpt" at the executioner's statement. He didn't like not getting what he wanted but even more than that the boy absolutely hated being told what to do. So with a flick of his tail, the boy loudly and boldly shouted "no" in response to his elder's words.

His dark eyes flicked towards the shadowy wisp that danced with Ganon's rage that was born from the boy's frustrated sobs, as if in an interpretive dance. He wondered, to what extent, did Potema's children have magical powers. It would not surprise him given their lineage and the power radiating from the Woods. He only hoped that Potema would begin to control it sooner or later.

Miraak made no verbal response this time to Ganon's word. Instead, the man's paw raised quickly, without warning, and he cuffed his grand-nephew's ear, digging a bit of claw into it to further reprimand the insolent child.

He hadn't been expecting to receive any punishment, well maybe a verbal one, but certainly not what the executioner had planned for him. Ganon let out a yip as the inky male's paw met his ear and the boy immediately tried to twist away from the elder. His tail slunk between his legs and the young spiderling adjusted himself so that he could shoot his uncle a glare. What was that for?! His face practically screamed the question and Ganon, who had only ever been punished by his mother, wanted to know what made this male think he had the right to even touch him.

He glares down at his grand nephew, who did not cry or whine, only shooting an angry glare at the elder. He wants to laugh at the insubordination, the clear indignation in his eyes, but he knows it would do little to help him. His face is stoic as he snorts and turns tail, leaving without a word.

His uncle departes, causing a huff to spill from the young boy's lips. Ganon turned to look where the whisp was last seen but it had already gone. With no one around and him left angry on his rump, the spiderling stands and lifts his tail high. He would be sure to tell mother about this! He'd probably end up blabbering all day about the old assassin and how rude he was. So with a plan in mind, Ganon spun on his heels and headed back towards the den, brainstorming about all the things he would complain about.
