All Welcome
In the years before her birth her father and aunt had walked these lands. Eshe did not consider what her father had warned; life was not the same to the great North as it was here. The southerns were gentle he had claimed, and while she was a different breed of creature than most she understood his notion. Theirs were feral clans - it was in her blood, in her name even. The woman snorted and paused her ascension of the mountain to cast her gaze towards the grounds below. She had not met any of the wolves that called these lands home and it seemed that there was not much land that was owned. It boded well for her ideals, uncertain of any promise to anyone but herself. She was not made from wolves meant to bend. Her mother had bested her father in a scrimmage the first time they'd met, otherwise she never would have allowed him to touch her.

It meant that Eshe was as deadly as she was beautiful, capable of fighting and negotiating. Her tongue was as skilled as her mind was sharp - she was made for this life. The haughty creature returned her gaze to her task at hand - she would climb the mountain to it's very peak and from there she would decide the next steps in her plan. From there, she could see everything, and she would determine what would be the most logical move.

Ynes had been prowling the area for a day or so, finding it to be teeming with every resource necessary for life. She knew that this sole peak would not serve her any long term good, but it was a decent place for her to figure out her next move. As she climbed a small rise and turned to continue on, another's frame came into view. Ynes remained silent, watching her in contemplation, as she considered what another's presence might mean.

Finally, rather than keeping the silence as she had with her previous two encounters, the young femme chose to speak up. Hello, she chirped. Ynes cocked her head slightly to the side to better examine the other's frame, but waited for a response, if any.

The sound of another's voice made her pause, bicolored eyes turning to peer around the lands until they'd settled on the source. Another female, it seemed, which immediately put Eshe on edge. There was a part to her that assessed herself against every other that she encountered and she was not foolish to the way that made her feel. It was exhausting, in its sense, but she could do little else. She had not been able to change that. She had not truly tried either. "Hello." She offered in return, but she made no move to be more open or friendly than that.

The air between the duo was stiff and unmoving. There was little room for either to move, but Ynes refused to back down from such a challenge. I don't believe we've met, she noted in a rather inquisitive tone. Her brows furrowed and she cocked her head slightly, one ear falling in the process, though she didn't let any true signs of emotion shine through. She took a step forward, though quickly halted, finding herself in an awkward freeze position between movement and placidity.
