All Welcome
attn: @Korei Julia

Hydra moved after a (relatively) recent scent trail of Korei, her movements slow and leisurely. Her tracking was becoming better and better with practice. In the past, the various scents of Moonspear were too confusing to her to follow just one. Oftentimes it had caused her to become distracted and lose focus on what she had been following. Squirrels had led to one of the pack or her family member, until one day it somehow clicked. That, and she had received tips from her mother and father who observed her in action.

She tracked the eldest Ostrega sister with confidence in her step. While she was certain she was going the right way, Hydra knew that if her sister had crossed a body of water recently that would deter her some. And it seemed that this had occurred. Her ears flicked, betraying her frustration with this. But she knew she needed work in this area, and that to simply give up her search would only seep into her future hunts of greater importance to the pack. Hydra moved toward the waterbed, one ear cupping backward to listen for the approach of any other... be it packmate, sister, or parent. She bounded over the thin waterway, sniffing and observing the drying pawprints of Korei's left on stone that faded as Korei had walked on. Recent enough to have left a drying mark, but Korei likely had covered some ground between then and now. Hydra set to work, tail swaying loosely behind her.

Korei had gone adventuring. That was all she could think on that, that this was just one adventure in a large one. She had in fact ventured close to the border, not noticing it. She also did not catch the scent of the one following her own scent, her sister Hydra. Korei had passed by some water, which she had drunken from before moving on. She stopped for a moment when she heard the caw caw of a crow, and looked up at it, then seated herself as she listened to it cawing at...well, she couldn't see what it was cawing at, but that didn't matter to her.
