Tytondiae’s response was unexpected and Indie made every effort to wilt at the girl’s self-deprecation — perhaps it was Indie’s overinflated sense of self, but she could not imagine what it would feel like to be a disappointment.  Indie was Indie, and she was pretty sure that she disappointed no one. It must be so… sad.

It was clear that the dark soul had been mocking herself in jest, but still Indie looked up at her with big, doleful eyes. “Now, I don’t think you’re being entirely fair to yourself.” she admitted, drawing a step nearer and letting the tinkle of the water’s movement register in her faculties.   "You haven’t disappointed me."
