Noctisardor Bypass Birdsong

She went from darkness to darkness, the only difference being longing pit of loneliness growing within her. She could not understand why she felt so lost. The comforting touch of her mother was gone, leaving her bereft of the touch she had grown accustomed to. Then there it was. Her mother. A soft breath of warmth in the darkness of the young girl's world. She was safe.

Yet again, there was something else pushing against her side. Her faint sense of smell could barely register that this thing smelled similar to her mother. With that, she was satisfied.
