All Welcome

With the high levels of tension in the family Ceallach is both dismayed and concerned at what is going on. Each day seems longer than the last and the boy frets that their lives are changed forever. Roarke has still not come home and despite the cries and calls of his parents, there has been no sign of things getting fixed. The boy didn't mean to sneak off, not quite invigorated with the poorly contained spirit like Roarke, but he had crossed the borders from Teaghlaigh and ended up in the Sweep the hunted from following a stale trail.

Nose to the ground the smokey boy is fixated, not realizing he has left the  safety of his pack lands and no doubt strayed further than would make either parent comfortable.

Although Sirius typically clung to Hemlock's side like a persistent and nagging flea, there were rare moments such as these where his curiosities would overpower his desire to protect his mother (read: make sure she didn't leave him). He'd found his first rabbit warren, and tried in vain to dig out one of its residents, but after half an hour he grew bored with the task and sought to return to the rendezvous site to be sure everyone in The Family remained. Wandering, he caught a fresh scent of Ceallach, alone and further out than ever before, so he chose to follow the trail to see what he might turn up. Because everyone seemed ironically preoccupied with Roarke's disappearance, no one else had seemed to notice this yet but him.

He found the boy past the borders, and began to gallop on ungainly limbs towards Ceallach when he at last spotted him. "Ceally!" he called, coming up to a skidding halt beside him. Searching for something wrong, he thrust his nose towards the remaining Fearghal boy and sought eagerly to snuffle him up. "What're you doin' all the way out here?"

For the puppy, fear was a prime motivator to many of his actions. Fear of his parent's disappointment, of upsetting his siblings, or invoking his godmother's ire - so many things that drove him. Today it was the fear of losing his brother forever and it ate him up inside. He took a deep breath, only stopping when he heard Sirius behind him. He turned to the older boy, reaching out to bump his snout against the boy's grey shoulder. "Was looking for Roars." He said honestly, giving a soft sigh as he held back all the other sounds he wanted to make.

"He...he was probably exploring....and...." He trailed off, looking around as his body sagged a bit. He couldn't help it. He hated the sensation of sorrow as he lagged on every inch of him, bringing him to a boiling head of emotion. "It's not fair!" He suddenly shouted, eyes going wide at the sudden charge of emotion. He took a couple careful steps away from the other boy, as if he had no idea where the outburst had come from.
