Joining
@Thuringwethil

Hux had always held respect for Thuringwethil  and he had never felt comfortable with his decision  to remain in Trigeda. The dark woman was a good leader -- even as little more than a child, she had made decisions that Hux could not imagine making at his current age. And she had made the correct ones ,  as far as he was concerned.

he had chosen to become one of the numbers whom had trickled into Drageda, and due to the months of yearning to leave, the decision had become an easy one. He was weary from his travels, a little dull in coat to accompany a loss of his usual muscle mass, but he was a strong man and the journey had treated him as well as it could have. When the scent of brine and water began to assault his nostrils and the borders lay just before his snowy paws, the large wolf paused and sat back upon his haunches, whilst throwing his maw skyward and singing a song for the obsidian mistress.

Thuringwethil freezes in place when she hears the howl, @Bobby taking a few steps ahead of her without realizing the impact. His ears are up and he keeps forward, slipping just out of reach of her teeth. When she growls low, he comes to a stop and glances back and she releases a sudden breath she hadn’t known she’d been holding. With the comforting familiarity that rang out through the forest, she finds a dilemma with her youngest son in tow. They are much too far to send him back without someone and she’d dismissed Eske and Isengrim a while ago so, instead of taking her back himself, she puts her feet into motion and gives him a nudge. She says something quiet and direct in Trigedasleng and he presses onward until they reach the source of the call.

Her tail is easily swept above her spine as she settles her slate eyes on his familiar, aged face. “Hux,” she says, quietly. His line of work had not been her specialty in her training but she’d learned a thing or two from him every now and then (not that she’d admit it, of course) and so she dips her nose once in greeting and then sweeps a paw back to keep Robin in his place behind her.

He expected to spy her dark figure materialize from the coastal forest. What he did not expect to see, however, was the child she brought in tow, a child she kept close as any good mother would. The tall beasts eyes {perhaps just a shade lighter than those of Thuringwethil} grew soft as he threw a gentle glance towards the boy, before bringing his gaze back to the impressive leader. She had grown, not just in size but in character, and he could guess this due not only to her new role as a mother, but also due to the businesslike manner in which she addressed  him, speaking only his name.

"Good to see you," he spoke coolly and with a dip of his maw, his posture sinking quickly into submission. "I've returned to serve you."

Uncertain of the response she will get, she offers a smile when he does finally speak. He doesn’t mention the child at her side which bides some time for a few minutes, at least. It is not uncommon for Hedas to spend time with the young of the pack, either, and chucking it up to a teaching lesson makes it a little easier. She can’t hide the information from anyone that comes to her borders, especially those of her own nature, and she hopes word at least has gotten out to Trigeda enough that everyone is at least aware. With Gyda and Gavriel having spent time there before their own branch had been created, she doesn’t doubt that information hadn’t seeped its way through.

Bos ai up yu,” she says in the confidence of their own tongue. Dison laik Robin, ai nomfa,” she adds a little tentatively but the comfort she feels from the older wolf settles her bones enough. She turns to the black and red boy before waving with her nose in the elder’s direction.

Native language is in teal I guess idk :0

Thuringwethil  was correct in assuming that word of her mateship had reached Trigeda. She was a character of influence -- how could it not? And while Hux was unsure of how he felt toward mateship  to outsiders, he could never treat a child poorly, especially not a child of Heda. And, using their native language ,  she introduced the red-stained boy as her own, a son aptly named Robin.

hello, Robin, Hux spoke, speaking in the child's direction. Being a quiet man by nature, the snowy wolf was not certain how to proceed, so he stood quietly, and perhaps awkwardly, awaiting any questions Heda might have.

We can end this soon :P

There is little to exchange when a wolf from Seageda has come to her doorstep. They do not have to go through the same spiel as the others do unless there is something to benefit from. Eske had interrogated Tanja when he first joined but Robin isn’t old enough yet and hasn’t shown much interest in anything outside the typical puppy behavior. Her tail twitches above her spine and gives her son an encouraging nod to approach, to which he bounces forward a step to greet the stranger.

One more post from you? Or not.

hux was familiar with the joining procedures, and if they were anyting like they had been in Trigeda, there was not much left to be said. The mother ushered her child forward and Hux {who loved children} delightedly lowered himself to his belly to greet the little one. "Hey Robin," he began gently. "I'm an old friend of your mother's. What do you think? Should I stay with you guys?"

a warm smile tugged at his lips.

They speak a little bit longer. Hux's welcoming approach to @Bobby gives her a little relief. Gavriel had been solely against it, Tanja had a hard time adjusting. Arlo, however, is young enough to not be too set in his ways that he has accepted it. Tirgatao has equally been welcoming but there have been a few to play a part that has made it difficult. Still, she did not birth Robin from her own self, keeping her vessel from becoming weak and compromised, and it is likely all she has going for her. Even though he carries half a dark coat that could resemble her own, she makes a point to tell Hux about her mate at some point before she lets him go to settle into the forest while she and her son return to their family.

Tag for visibility to know he met him. :)
