All Welcome
There was something different about today. Up until now, the tiny babe hadn't done much beside eat, sleep, and poop. There'd been some blind bumbling, some half-hearted wrestling, and some happy chirps along the way, but Easy, for the most part, had remained largely inactive.

Today, though, she woke up and stretched and cracked open her beady bkue eyes, blinking into the dim evening sunlight that was sstreaming through the mouth of the den.

The girl sat back with a tiny sound of exclamation. This had never happened before! With her mouth opened in a tiny 'o', Easy stared into the light, beginning to see foggy shapes through the hazy glow. Her eyesight was even worse than her father's, at this point, but being able to see at all was quite a novelty to the young girl.

A moment later, she was walking unsteadily toward the entrance, gaining bith grace and speed as she went. Before anyome could stop her, she was standing on the crunchy yellow grass outside, gazing around the world in innocent wonder.

Exhausted by the journey, Easy plopped down right there and dozed off into a pleasant dream, her tiny black body standing out against the pale grass for any passing creature to find.

she had been hunting for the better part of the morning, searching for something suitable to offer Khoe, and the newest additions to her family. she hadn't visited them much; they were so small, so delicate, and she feared that she might do them some grievous fault. the passing thought of one of them getting squashed under and ill-placed paw or rear had her stay a distance away for the first few days, until she decided her fears did not outweigh her desire to see the newest additions of her family.

the rabbit swung from her paw like a pendulum, discarded quickly at the mouth of the den when she saw the black lump. worry creased her features, for she had no idea of what was good and bad puppy behaviour, and it wasn't as if she could remember being this young. delicately, she stretched out beside the girl, muzzle touching her back in the slightest, silent and still, gingerly waiting to see if the girl would do something.

The girl hardly noticed when something Big and Unfamiliar padded up to her. If it'd been a bear that'd picked her up and carried her away, she would've let it happen without a fuss. Easy had never been scared or hurt before; danger just didn't register with her.

Luckily, the creature that'd found her wasn't dangerous at all - not to her, at least. Dawn touched her nose to her back, and Easy gave a sleepy yawn and promptly rolled over on her back, legs wheeling in the air as she silently insisted that her belly be rubbed instead. The girl gave another wide yawn and then blinked her eyes open to gawk at Dawn's face - the first face she'd ever seen! And what a strange thing to look at - Easy could hardly comprehend what was hovering above her.

her ears perked atop her head, alert, as the girl began to move. she didn't want to do anything that would end up harming the girl, as alien and unfamiliar as she was to Dawn. the girl rolled over, hardly a graceful move, displaying her underbelly with all four paws stirring the air above her. carefully, Dawn poked the girl's stomach with her nose, exhaling sharply with a huff, grin coming to her muzzle as the girl's tiny blue gaze found her face.

Instantly, the girl was smittened with the strange creature above her. She felt her face move to mimmick her elder sister's, though she wasn't quite sure what it meant. There was a strange, fluttery feeling in her belly. Who was this giant creature? How much fun were they about to have?

Easy didn't waste time wondering - the answer was clearly ' a lot ' - and opened her mouth wide to babble her excitment at meeting the older girl. She reached out inquisitive paws to poke and prod at Dawn's face, marvelling at just how big she was.
