All Welcome
She trekked along the river, snaking north through the plains before winding through a scatter of forests to the west. It took several days, just like @Tytonidae had said it would, and by the time Trail reached the shoreline, her little paws were weary. But the view was well worth it! She took a seat at the crest of a sand dune and simply stared out at the vastness of the sea, up until the bark of a sea lion sent her skittering south.

The (literal) coast was clear along a bay here and Trail plopped onto her haunches again with a tired sigh. She was exhausted and also famished. She sat, motionless in her fatigue, trying to decide whether to eat or sleep first.
