Hideaway Strath Remembering sucks

Tapat was at the borders again. He never really crossed them after he lost his way. Somehow it had an impact on his long term memory that he once crossed a border and never returned. Tapat was lucky enough that his family found him. He loved his mama and papa so much. He would have missed them terribly. He also liked his brother a lot. But before he was much more around to play with him. Now he did all these serious things like patrolling. Tapat kept wondering at times if he should do serious tasks, yet, moments later he would forget about doing them.

The pale teenager did remember one thing, however, the beautiful gray boy that visited their borders. Tapat was afraid of crossing Teaghlaigh's borders to go look for this pretty boy. But he also wanted to see him again! He remembered the pretty gray boy. The gray boy with a white spot between his eyes. Tapat let out a soft whine. How terrible it was to remember things! Now he wanted to go to him but the annoying thing was that he knew he couldn't.

Sorry if you were waiting for someone else, seemed like a long enough wait. Let me know if you want me to delete.

Seri was walking around the border, looking out of the territory. Most of what she saw were the mountains that surrounded them, but there was the one opening where she could see further out and beyond. She yearned for the day when she was old enough to leave the territory on her own. At the moment with her aunt not being around very often, and with no other older wolves as friends, she was stuck with in the invisible boundaries.

Still not having made many friends within the pack, Seri was very sociable with any wolf that she saw. This one had similar coloration to her and looked younge then an adult, but still older then her. Maybe they could take her out of the territory for alittle hunt or something. Without much guidance Seri didn't know many rules as to what she was and wasn't allowed to do with others. "Hi" she greeted the stranger.

Yeah, I was. But that is okay. @Astik is still welcome anytime!

Tapat looked up when he heard a 'hi'. His face turned to see a wolf he didn't know. In Tapat's terms, it wasn't really that much of a surprise. He suffered from short-term memory loss and often didn't remember the wolves in his pack for a long time. The white teenager was learning by now that if he kept asking who they were his condition was only more apparent.

"Hi," he greeted. The pining over his boy-crush momentarily forgotten now there was another wolf before him. "I'm Tapat!," he introduced, already forgotten his previous thought process that he shouldn't make his condition so apparent. Oh well. His tail wagged in a friendly matter.

Seri's tail wagged as Tapat gave her a friendly response and introduction. This was a good start she thought, though she didn't want to get her hopes up too high. "My name is Seri" Luckly for Tapat the two hadn't meet and so Seri was left unaware of his situation. At least for the time being.

"What are you up to? she asked curious as to what the other wolves in the territory did. She always wanted to be out of the territory it seem. The grass was greener on the other side as it were. But with her being so young she would need to find something to do within the territory for the time being.

Tapat grinned when she introduced herself. Seri. Okay. He sniffed her out. She seemed fun! Though as soon as she asked the other question Tapat had forgotten her name again. The pale boy thought for a moment. What was he doing? His stomach sunk as he couldn't remember. "Uhhhhh. Can remember," he admitted but then quickly put a smile on his maw.

"We can do something together!," he suggested and went through his front paws into play mode. Tapat might be officially an adult but he was still very youthful. He loved the idea of playing with his pack mates.

Tapat came up to sniff Seri, to which she had no problem with. It seemed as though Tapat couldn't remember what it was he had been doing. Seri might have thought this was weird, but maybe he simply hadn't really been doing anything in the first place. But her pondering was brought to a halt when he invited her to do something with him and proceeded to assume a playful stance. "YA! We can do that." she said with a big smile as she assumed a similar stance to Tapat's.

What could they do together. Seri hadn't really had a chance to play with her other siblings much and didn't know too many games. "Maybe we could play a game like Tag or ..." she suggested then pondered wondering what other games the two could play.

Tapat's tail wagged excitedly. He was super eager to play, he was always down to play. "Yes!," he spoke and playful jumped forward and nudged her with his nose. "YOU'RE IT!" The male then dashed away. He didn't run far at all though. It was far more fun in a contained space so he could dodge and jump away from the girl.

Tapat sank through his paws again and tried to jump from left to right before dashing off to the left. He made sure to keep an eye on the female of course. Otherwise, he would get caught!

Tapat agreed and hurridly tapped Seri saying she was now it and then began to run away. Seri's face lit up as she began to run after Tapat. She was much smaller then he was, as he was almost the size of an adult. But that didn't deture her. Sprinting after him with her tongue out. When he turned to face her and lowered his stance she did the same, following him after he drifted to the left. Even though she was smaller she still thought she might be able to catch up to him. Putting forth alot of her energy to try to lightly nip at his tail.

Tapat liked to play with the girl. He felt her nips at his tail and playfully jumped away. The male laughed and then jumped into another direction and sank through his front paws again, giving her time to catch up with him. Normally, he wasn't faster. He was usually below average. He would also stay small, especially for a male wolf. He wagged his tail and woof'ed excitedly.

Seri caught up to Tapat and assumed a playful stance towards him, as he did to her. She didn't think she would be able to out run him, but maybe when they were face to face and weaving back and forth she could touch one of his paws. So as they darted back and forth, left and right, she matched him for a little bit. But they suddenly she sprang forward towards one of his legs. If sucessful she would have told him your it and proceeded to scurry away.

Tapat stopped when the female touched his legs. He let out a soft woof in excitement. Now it was his turn! He turned around and chased after her. He kept a slower pace so she had the ability to run away from him a bit. Tapat was always a good sport. He didn't mind losing. He would often lose against one of the youngest pups to boost their confidence. The pale male jumped forward, but on purpose jumped next to her.

Seri had successfully tagged Tapat's paw and was on the run. She could hear him running behind her and she scuttled to the side as he jumped to the side of her. Weaving left and right she wanted to try and loose him with in the trees and shrubery. Seri was getting pretty tired at this point. Playing with someone who was older then her made it more exhausting then it may have been with another pup her age. She thought that maybe hiding would be her best bet in the midst of her running around between the trees and shrubs. She dashed through a few more bushes then suddenly stopped underneath one.

With her white coat, the female was easy for Tapat to follow. He started to pant as well since summer was a hot season. He chased after her at a calmer pace. He saw that she ducked under the bush but ignored it. He wanted her to feel good like she was winning the same. Tapat was acting like he was looking for her around the bush. But then as he did so he kind of forgot what he was looking for. He let out a soft huff. His pretend and acting turned into something real.

It seemed to Seri that she had succeeded in her job of hiding. Tapat began sniffing and searching through the bushes and Seri tried to stay as still as possible. Tapat was getting closer to her, but then he ended up passing her in a different direction. Without any better knowledge Seri thought she had just done a good job hiding. She waited for him to come back around so she could jump out and spook him.

Tapat was quite startled when the female jumped at him. He let out a squeak in shock and his tail instantly got between his legs. He turned to the other wolf and looked at her with a confused expression. Why did she do that? What was the meaning of her jumping on him? Tapat kept his confused look as he also didn't really remember the female. "Umm. Hi," he greeted.

Seri's tail wagged back and forth vigeriously when she surprised Tapat, her plan had worked but something was off. Even though she had been hiding they still had been playing tag and yet, Tapat didn't proceed to tag Seri. Maybe that game had been over with Seri's playful outburst, but she couldn't be sure. She also thought it was somewhat weird how Tapat reacted. Not what he said, but mainly the tone was off. As though he was confused rather then surprised.

Seri went back into a playful stance ready to run either away from or after Tapat if their game continued. "I got you! Are you going to tag me or what?"

Tapat glanced over the female and when she spoke he blinked. Tag! He loved tag! He grinned and nodded. "I love to play tag!," he smiled and wagged his tail. He also went into a playful stand and then jumped forward to get her. She would probably be too quick, but then at least he could give her a chase. He was good in chasing.

It seemed to Seri as though Tapat moment of confusion was over as he proceeded to attempt to tag her. This time with his delayed realization she had time to duck out of the way and proceed to scurry away. She was getting rather tired, but that wouldn't stop her from trying her best and exuting all of her energy. Which is exactly what ended up happening. In the middle her running she missed her footing and ended up rolling onto her side. It didn't hurt too much, she just needed to rearrange her limbs abit so she could rest on the ground. She looked up at Tapat, panting. "You win." she said with little breath.

Tapat was happy when he won and then quirked up his lips. "yay!," he spoke. He watched how the female was panting, which probably meant she was tired. Tapat wanted to go back to his momma and papa. "Should you go back to your parents?,"he asked. He didn't know her story. He figured she came here with her parents or her parents were the alphas. There were many pups from the alpha.

As Seri lay panting on the ground Tapat let out a small cheer of victory. She didn't mind, having fun was her main goal and she hadn't expected to win against a wolf that was much older then her. But Tapat's next question too Seri alittle off guard. Part of it was because even though she was young she was old enough to go off on her own and hunt the small game that she needed. But the obvious main part was because she had lost her parents in the disbandment of her former pack. She missed them but she had never really cired about it except for those very first days.

Her aunt had mentioned along the way that they would most likely come back to look for her and that why they joined this pack, which at the time was the closest pack to Silver Creek. But now with her aunt gone Seri wasn't really sure what to do. Maybe her aunt had gone off to look for Spring and expecting to find her soon didn't tell Seri when she left. It was the story that Seri made herself believe in her head, making the pain a bit more bearable. "I would if I knew where they were. We got separated a while ago." she responded now looking at the ground with a somber face.

Tapat's ears flopped to the side. He remembered when he lost his parents because he was so stupid to forget everything. Well, that was branded in his memory, it was why he was living here now. Luckily for him, his parents found him and joined this pack. He quirked up his lips. "I didn't know,"he spoke with a kind smile.

"But don't worry. You will have a family here. Hemlock is like my second mama," he assured her. "And Arturo is nice as well."

Tapat said some comforting words and mentioned Arturo and Hemlock, who she hadn't had a chance to meet yet. It meant alot to her that the members within the pack were still willing to watch out for her without haveing any real reason to, other then out of the goodness of their hearts. But even with those thoughts in her mind, the mention of her parents had put Seri out of her usually playful mood.

That and the addition of her being tired from her and Tapats game of tag made her want to find a place to rest. "Ya... Well I'm pretty tired. I'm going to find a place to lie down." she said standing up from where she layed on the ground. "Nice to meet you... I'll see you around." she smiled at him and wagged her tail lightly before heading off to find a place to rest.
