All Welcome
maybe @Tapat or @Seri: someone he hasn't had a lot of contact with? i left it all welcome so there is no obligation, of course! :-)

Arturo does not know what to do. Things have been quiet and he supposes that is a good thing but it unnerves him because Molly has been missing for near a week now and Arturo cannot spare the manpower to go out and look for her. He’s thought of going himself — because does he actually trust anyone else with the task of looking for his daughter except himself? (No, not really) — but a six days is a long time and there is no telling how far she could have gotten. And he does not feel comfortable without leaving Teaghlaigh with a guardian gone off on an adventure; and it isn’t as if he can get Chusi a message to keep an eye out for Molly while she adventures around, carefree as ever. She’s not a child anymore and he cannot stop her but he hopes her adventure is worth it because right now Teaghlaigh could have really used her.

Arturo feels a twist in his gut as he patrols the borders with grim purpose, pausing here and there to lift his leg and refresh the borders of the Strath. He’s lost not one but now two children; and doesn’t understand how it could have happened. Has he been too soft of them as he feels he was Chusi? He never had this problem with his eldest bunch. Devin had been the most rebellious of them and was accustomed to leaving for a few days at a time but he never worried because she always returned and when she took to those antics she was old enough that he didn’t worry quite so much. He had a feeling he was going to start greying prematurely from the stress. He wonders if, at this point, he would even know what to do without a life of stress. Probably not. The gangster’s grown so accustomed to it’s strain and pressure against his shoulders that he might float away if he ever got to a point where he wasn’t under it.

He heaves a heavy exhale as he tries to focus upon his patrol, tries to find any indication that Molly has come home wishing that he did not feel so helpless and feeling a rise of panic at the fact that Hemlock was likely with child and that all he has to offer her is the failure of a father he’s been to his litter with Lotte; which can’t have been overly reassuring.

Tapat was on the borders once more. Not that he did anything useful there. He never dared to cross the scent marks. He always lingered around them or would find a new place to be on the look out. His mind kept going over that gray colored boy. He was so pretty. Tapat could remember him. HIs first crush had quite the impact on the boy. Tapat would often let out a howl for his crush. Maybe he was around, you know! Then he could see him again.

The white colored teenager looked into the distance with so much hope. His ears dropped when there wasn't a response. He wanted to go and explore, but he also didn't want to lose his family. It was really important for him to stay where he was. Still, the only one that really spends time with him lately was Hemlock. Not that Tapat remembered that. Tapat planted his butt down and kept his murky yellow eyes locked forward. This beautiful boy had to be here somewhere, right?

Seri wanted to so something so bad! She had been in this pack for some time now but her age limited her from being able to do anything fully. At only 5 months olf she shouldn't, and to her that meant couldn't, leave the borders of the territory without an escort or without the approval of someone older. With her aunt not being gone she felt that the only ones about to give her that approval would be the leader(s) of the pack. She hadn't spent much of anytime with them and had only meet Arturo when she first joined the pack.

So she set out to find him. Not sure of what she would do or ask once she found him. Maybe she could have a simple conversation that should build his trust in her. Then he would give her something to do. At least that's what she hoped. Her search brought her to the border where she saw Arturo patrolling the border. Before she could approach him she heard a howl near by calling out to someone she didn't know. She also waited to see if there was a reply, curious to hear what they would have to say. But after a few moments of silence she proceeded to walk up to Arturo.

At first she lowered her head to him, not completely sure what level of submission he expected when he was approached. "Hello Arturo..." she spoke somewhat hesitantly as she followed behind him on his patrol.

thanks for joining you two! :-)

A howl went up from within his borders, a search for someone. Tapat’s voice, he recognizes if only because Teaghlaigh is small and he has come to learn their individual voices well enough despite that he had not interacted much with the pale, forgetful boy. Thinking that Tapat had gotten lost (though at least, he thinks, it is within the Strath’s territory), Arturo makes his way towards the origin of the boy’s call upon the borders though gives a slight pause when he is apprehended by Seri. The girl had become a ward of The Family as a whole when her aunt just …abandoned her. Eyes of burning, twin suns focuses the pale girl as she shows him submission and greets him not with title but name. The fact that it bothers him is alarming but he does not let on (perhaps he is truly becoming a tyrant!) and offers her a sage nod of his head in acknowledgement as she falls in step behind him. “How are you, Seri?” The gangster asks her, truly curious as to how she is settling. He is grateful that she is old enough to hunt on her own and be of some help to the pack and is not just another child with a mouth to feed. Especially considering the fact that Hemlock is likely expecting.

It does not take the pair long to come across Tapat and the gangster lets out a soft chuff to announce their presence to him. “Is there anything I can help you find, Tapat?” Arturo inquires as he draws to a stop, focus moving from Seri to Tapat. He does not know either of them very well at all but he has been given a rare opportunity to change that and Ceannasach seeks to do just that.

Tapat's focus was broken when he heard footfalls. His ear turned and soon his head followed. He saw their big leader with some pale girl. Did he know her? He didn't remember. The pale boy ducked his head because he did remember the leader. His scent was everywhere, and the boy used his scent to help him guide around the territory. His nose wasn't broken. He was grateful for the strong scent of the male as he was easy to track and his paths were familiar. They were basically high ways for Tapat to use.

"Y-YES!," he let out, his head staying low, ears back in submission and his tail wagging profusely. "I'm looking for the pretty gray colored boy! He is so pretty, and he was at the borders before... and I remember!!!...," he let out, as it was a big deal for him. "... but... um... I know to only go where your scent is, Mister Leader!! But umm... I was thinking... that if I howled he might come to me!," he stated, posture staying the same, almost plastered against the ground as he was under the scrutiny of those orange orbs.

Seri was happy that Arturo greeted her with a friendly question. She didn't know him too well and part of her though he would be more strict, but maybe it was because she was so young. "I'm feeling good." she replied with a light smile. He then referenced to the howl and noted that it came from Tapat. A young adult wolf who Seri had meet alittle while earlier. She then followed him to where Tapat was and listened to what it was Tapat was looking for.

Tapat went on to describe a male wolf that he could remember. If Seri had learned of Tapat's condition in the past she had forgotten it now and simply smiled at him with familiarity, unaware as to if he would have forgotten her or not. Tapat did adress Arturo as Mister Leader, which reminded Seri that Arturo shouldn't be adressed by his real name. Seri stayed quite curious as to what further information would arize.

“That’s good to hear, Seri,” Arturo murmurs, offering her a soft smile. He knows she must be a turmoil of emotions for he assumes she has been through quite the upheaval. The disbanding of Silver Creek and then to have her guardian abandon her to a pack of strangers. Arturo has not forgotten of her, though he is glad that she is old enough to more or less handle herself and does not need the supervision of the Lotturos or the coming Hemturos. “Teaghlaigh is here for you.” He does not wish for her to feel left out. She is apart of The Family now, and The Family would take care of her; that is his promise to her. His offer isn’t much in the wake of losing her actual family — not that Arturo seeks to replace them at all — but the gangster is a man of his word and will protect his Family at all and every cost.

Tapat prostrates himself in submission before him and Arturo gives a slight gesture for the boy to rise. A pretty, grey boy. There is a tense in the svelte muscles of the gangster’s shoulders when Tapat speaks that this pretty, grey boy had been at the borders. He can’t help it. A wolf had been at his borders and he hadn’t known about it, boy or no, and it causes suspicion to raise within his breast. He doesn’t like it. He does not like when things go unnoticed and uninformed of him. In this respect, Arturo is a control freak; but he does not ask Tapat what the boy had wanted, understanding that he had a memory issue; though, admittedly, the fact that the pale boy remembered the other boy at all was something of a miracle Ceannasach assumed. “Hmm,” The gangster draws in a smoky hum. “I haven’t seen any pretty grey boys around here lately,” There is a twinkle to his eye, wondering if he would have the opportunity of playing match maker ( not that Arturo is the best to go to for romantic advice about given the strange situation between Lotte, Hemlock and himself; but it'll give him something constructive to do and he was all for the distraction ). “I’m afraid I can’t be of much help to you Tapat,” And there is a genuine apology in the softening of his twin sun gaze as he looks upon the pale boy before his gaze flickers to Seri. “Have you seen a boy of Tapat’s description at our borders lately, Seri?” Arturo inquires, wishing to include her in the conversation as well.

Tapat lifted his head a bit when he saw a nod of approval from the leader. The teenager got himself into a sitting position. "Oh too bad," he spoke. "Lotte saw him briefly! Maybe she knows where he went," Tapat spoke in suggestion, more to himself than to the leader. He understood that he shouldn't leave the territory. He wasn't that young anymore and he might have memory issued but that memory of losing his parents had stuck with him.

"That is okay, Mister Arturo," Tapat spoke kindly, his tail wagged. "I will just wait here behind the border and occasionally howl to see if he is around," he spoke with joy. The teenager was always so happy and easy going. His face turned to the female, maybe she had seen him! His tail wagged hopefully.

Seri was glad to know that even though her aunt had left, the member within the pack would look after her. They really had no obligation to do so with them knowing to little about her. She so badly wanted to do something to make up for it. She didn't want to feel like a free loader even at her age. Once they finished talking to Tapat, she could ask Arturo if there was anything she could do, no matter how minor.

As the situation with Tapat progressed it seemed as though no one other then him and maybe Lotte had seen this gray boy. Seri thought it was somewhat sad that the only thing Tapat could think to do was sit and wait for this stranger. If he didn't even know his name, how well could the two know eachother. Was this gray wolf even worth waiting for other then for his supposed good looks. Seri was maybe too young to understand the consept of attraction and it seemed to her that Tapat could be doing so many other things other then sitting a waiting.

When asked if she had seem him, she looked at Arturo and then to Tapat. "No... I'm sorry Tapat. I haven't seen anyone." Even though she though his conquest seemed meaningless, she nonetheless still wanted to help if she did have any idea about who this mystery wolf was.

Tapat mentions that Lotte had briefly seen his pretty grey boy and the gangster makes a note to inquire to her about him later: gleam what he can from her. “I will ask her when I see her,” Smoky promise slips from betwixt his lips, meant to reassure Tapat. There is a terse press of Arturo’s lips as Tapat assures him it’s ok and that he’ll just wait and howl for him. It was a good idea but the gangster’s thoughts flicker to his children and the attention Tapat’s howls for a wolf he sort of remembers doesn’t sit well with Ceannasach. “That could attract unwanted attention,” But Arturo doesn’t know how to help him. “What if you just patrolled the borders with your brother? If your pretty boy was here before then he knows the way back to you.” He suggests with a soft rise and fall of his shoulders. It isn’t much but Arturo doesn’t know how to compensate for Tapat’s memory loss.

Tapat tipped his head when Arturo suggested he would go on patrol with his brother. He slowly nodded. "Umm. Yeah. I didn't mean to cause any trouble," he spoke. But his face betrayed that he was sad about it. The howl felt as something he could do, but patrol...? He would not be good at that. Astik was a fighter and very strong. He thought if he howled wolves would come to him. But he didn't mean to attract the wrong wolves. "I can ask him if I can help him," he offered with a soft smile. He hadn't seen his brother in awhile so Tapat wasn't sure if he wanted him around.

Seri had been waiting patiently on the side lines, waiting for the right time to ack Arturo her question. She knew that interrupting would be rude and she she had waited. But inside her, even though she could tell how much this gray wolf must have ment to Tapat she felt the need to blurt it out almost. Luckily for her as Arturo suggested for Tapat to do something she thought that she could jump on that train. Her tail began to wag thinking of the possibility of patrolling the border, even if it was something that she seemed to do on her own, on her own time. In her mind this time might be different now that their was a goal in mind rather then just seeming what might stand on the other side. "OOh, maybe I would help Tapat too. I can patrol with you and your brother." her tail wagging as she took a step forward towards Tapat.

I'm closing up 'Arturo' threads so I went ahead and just concluded this. :-)

Arturo does not want to appear so harsh or short with Tapat for the gangster understands that he has …a disability that keeps him from remembering things. Which is understandable and not anything the pallid boy can help, Ceannasach knows. Still, he is Ceannasach and it’s important than Tapat is made aware that his actions can potentially effect Teaghlaigh in a negative way. Perhaps they wouldn’t but Arturo struggles to trust as it is and he puts nothing past anyone these days. The gangster’s said all he needed to, thinks that he will keep an eye out for Tapat’s boyfriend before he departs from the two youths with a dip of his head, letting them to their devices while he finished up his patrol.
