All Welcome
While she was free to roam the woods now, and bore one of their titles, she could not shake the fear, the helplessness. Vaati's words rang still in her ears; the wolves here could kill her, she doubted that they would pause if given cause to do so. It was this knowledge that had her creep about the woods, avoiding all and sleeping fitfully.

She thought too of how easily Vaati had taken her; he had overpowered her without much effort. Fighting harder, she had come to realize, would not have won her freedom; Vaati's movement spoke of experience and practice and thought. And should she learn to fight as he did, perhaps she could hold her head higher in the wood, and gain back the control she struggled for. A mentor would be difficult to find, perhaps, but she placed the idea near the forefront of her mind as she weaved between the trees, no distinct destination in mind.
That is not dead which can eternal lie.
And with strange aeons even death may die.
