All Welcome
Just want to state they aren't trespassing! They are right on the borders. @Vaati preferred but anyone else is welcome. @Mawk figured this should get done and over with

They had left the same day that Illecebra had found the scent trail of her son and another leading away from their territory. Mawk had followed her away from Easthollow and off they went to track down their baby boy, their youngest. The travels had taken a while and they had originally lost the scent but continued on a fairly direct path and recognized the scent of the one they believed stole Cyron as they walked past this pack's borders. Illecebra now stood fuming upon the borders, hawk like eyes staring at the gore and bones that littered the scent line. "Mawk...." she began her eyes widening as she turned her head to look at him. This pack already seemed to be a not so peaceful one and If Cyron was here there was a great chance he was deceased. "Prepare yourself." she finished.

Stading firmly she lifted her head and called for an audience with a high rank. Just because the borders were fearsome enough did not mean she would turn tail and run. Her son was here she just knew it and she refused to abandon her child to what she now imagined to be a pack of bloodthirsty savages.

His hackles had been twitching from the moment they set off to find Cyron, only prickling more once they arrived at the woods. It was a daunting place indeed, not one that he could ever picture himself living in. Why these wolves chose to live here, he could not understand, but each to their own. He pressed his side against Cebra in hopes of calming both their nerves, for it seemed they were both on edge. The borders of this place were horrifying, to say the least - gory and littered with bones. It was a decent way to dissolve the threat of tresspassers, but he would never have even thought about doing such a thing. It was most disturbing.

To his mate's words he repsonded with a nod and a deep breath, eyes peering into the darkness of the territory as they stood at the edge.

Vaati lopes silently to meet the foreign scent at their borders, two different individuals who smell faintly of another's pack, and as he draws near, the tell-tale signs of an unwilling visit. Drawing what he can based only on assumption, he gathers that the strangers don't necessarily want to be there, rather, that it is not on their own volition that they wait expectantly upon the bloodied grounds. But as he pushes through the undergrowth to reveal himself at full height, hostility is thick in the air, and his hackles raise. He does not approach. Instead, he raises a call to summon @Cassiopeia, who quite frankly, is the only one he can truly trust in the days following the failed assassination. He could not even trust his own mother, whom at that moment, was likely nearly coma-induced in an unfortunate poppy-seed tendency. "What do you want?" The Silencer does not have time to entertain strangers and the perhaps foolish intentions they bring, he has a war to prepare for, if it ever came.

She had built herself up in the days since her status had been changed from captive to tyro, and while she felt freedom was not yet hers, she certainly made the most of the new lead alotted to her. She hardly strained at the end of it like a dog confined against its will, in her weeks here, she had almost grown comfortable, the woods and its scents becoming familiar. She was still thin, but her thickening pelt had regained its sheen.

She arrived at the side of Vaati swiftly and silently, a shadow beside him as she stared at the strangers without much emotion glinting in her burning gaze. Perhaps once she would have been desperate for such a chance, a chance to leave this place in the protection and company of others, but that time was long gone, now. She was a silent spectre, Vaati's harsh words echoing her own thoughts, green gaze dark poison as she regarded the pair.
That is not dead which can eternal lie.
And with strange aeons even death may die.

Illecebra and Mawk hadn't had to wait for long before a hulking white brute appeared before them, a bristling and stern image that Cebra found suited the violent looking borders. He sent up a call for someone else and Illecebra flicked an ear finding it odd that he seemed to find the need for back-up. Her eyes cold she drew in his scent and balked her own fur rising instantly as she recognized it. She bumped mawk with her shoulder and pressed against him, trying to shove down the immediate urge to leap at this man's throat. "We tracked our son's scent here. Small white little boy, reeked like skunk." she muttered in response to the quite inhospitable question of "what did they want".

She remained still though her muscles quivered and tensed up at the knowledge that this man right before them had taken her little boy away from the borders. "We want him returned. Simple enough." she stated staring him down with little fear. Her coldness and anger was a facade to hide the fear that Cyron had died or that he would not be handed over peacefully to them like this man should do. Illecebra didn't turn her gaze toward the black she wolf who she could see from the corner of her gaze, instead focusing her full attention on the pup thief.

Sorry for the hold up!

The white wolf did not take long to arrive, and as he approached Mawk felt his hackles prickle with anticipation. He wanted to hurt him, for the scent was the same as that of the one who had stolen their child. He narrowed his burning amber eyes but was silent as the stranger sent up another call. Another wolf, darker in colour, arrived but he only sent her a short glance. His gaze was trained on the brute. "We have reason to believe that you took him."

Mawk nodded at his mate's statement. They were, after all, not looking to fight - the reason for their approach to the edge of the Woods' borders was simply to retrieve their son and then they would leave. However, if this wolf refused, then... then he would not say no to a fight. He would fight for his son, as most fathers would. It was not a matter of what he 'wanted', for peace was what he wanted. But sometimes peace did not get you what you needed, for some would only give in if they were fought. Some wanted to fight.
