All Welcome
@Prince or anyone else that's interested.

As per usual, Bean's habit of running her mouth meant she missed out on an opportunity. The night after encountering Easthollow she didn't go far. She slept within a forest replete with ferns; they seemed impervious to the oncoming cold snap and she found them suitable for a few hours a shut-eye. Through the daylight hours she kept going north until another evening settled in, and she found herself wandering the fringes of a maple forest. There, she snagged herself a few squirrels that hastily filled her belly, then delved deeper, until she was in the heart of the forest. The cold was something Bean had never been a fan of but there was no avoiding it now - she could feel the temperature dropping as evening came early, and watched through a gap in the trees as the sky darkened with clouds. Rain was on its way - or snow - and she sneered at the heavens as if that would scare it all away.

She hadn’t been very successful in her pursuit of her long lost companion. Winter later hit and she hunkered down somewhere for a few months, enjoying what little time she had there. Eventually, it didn’t feel anything like she expected home to feel like. She’d abandoned wolves prior to her commitment to them and she did the same thing by the time the end of summer came around. Parts of her wanted to go back and find her friend again, or go back and see if the others are even still there. The rest of her just wanted to avoid it all together but, still, she found her way back anyway.

The land was only slightly familiar to her but it had been so long since she’d even been in the area. The scent of another caught her attention, however, and she absently followed it until she came across a young wolf. With her head pointed to the sky, Ocra looked up, following the line of sight to see the darkening of the sky in the distance and she twisted her lips in frustration at their predicament.
