It was gone. Gone forever, gone for good. Clearly it had been a victim of fierce weathers, swamped and flooded to the very top by murky waters, swallowing everything on it's way up, destroying the mysterious paradise that -according to Cara's beloved mental scrapbook- used to stand within the mountain ring.

Kendrick hadn't been the first to leave home. Sadly that trophy went to Keith himself, though for as much as he wanted, Kendrick simply could not find hate for his father in his heart. There had to be an explanation to his sudden disappearance, he was sure of that and while he knew his dad had been gone far too long to find any tracks and did not pretend to uncover the mistery or even find Keith again, deep within Kendrick knew that he had chosen to find the Teekon Wilds in hopes of bumping into him. Ken had always been independent, he could live at distance from Cara, he could bear the separation from his siblings, even his beloved Kendall, and he could survive without ever knowing the name of his baby brothers and sisters; but somewhere in his heart, locked away with sadness he would always desire to find his father again. That man had marked his life like no one could or would ever do it again.

A pity. But nothing about it would change by hating on the world. So with positive energy and hunger for experiences, the young Borealem rogue veered away from the Ouroboros Spine to find his own adventures down south. The Moretti-Borealem kids had lived long enough in their parents' stories, and though they were amazing and inspiring, all they did was leaving each of them needing more, real, new things to live on their own. It was in their blood anyway, Morettis could never be satisfied once they felt the thrill of living a spirited life, and Kendrick, following the steps of the intrepid Kafka and the bold Kink, had stopped at nothing ever since he realized how wide the world was, and how much he wanted to take it. He had only imagined the wonders that awaited him beyond Rockcastle Valley and it had been enough to spark the wanderlust that would pull him down into the Teekon Wilds and would surely push him further away.
