All Welcome
Whisper had been wandering through the forest aimlessly for days now. She was hungry, tired, and cold. The crisp air that went through her fur sent a jolt of cold through her body. She catches scent of a rabbit and begins to track it. She peers through the trees, while being ever so silent pounces on her prey, killing it instantly between her powerful jaw. She enjoys her meal in the quiet of a vacated bear den that she had found earlier for shelter.

He doesn't know what happened to Ju, but he knows he has to find her. He was supposed to protect her - he'd made a promise, after all. But now they were separated, and until he saw her again, he had to keep himself healthy and fit.

So the scent of blood, naturally, attracted his attention. The male tracked the scent of a lone female to her den, where she was eating a freshly-caught rabbit. Revolver stood there for a moment, wondering if the small amount of meat was worth fighting over.

Probably not.

Still, the male looked near the den, attempting to catch the female's eye. He might not want to fight for it, but the woman didn't know that. Maybe his larger size would encourage her to hand over her kill.

Whisper paused in dining and looked up to see the large wolf. She analyzed him to see if he was a threat as she stood up. Licking her lips, the young she-wolf begins to speak. "Yes, may I help you?" She questioned him as she stayed close to her kill. She did not want to fight, but will if necessary.

Revolver subsided somewhat when the shewolf did not immediately back down. It seemed like she was willing to defend her meal, small as it was. He took her words to be defensive in nature, and turned his head to the side to take the edge of aggression out of his stance.

"Seen a brown and white dog anywhere around here?" he asked, hoping to diffuse the situation. Besides, he was at a point where he might as well start asking. He had no trail to follow, and no idea which way she'd gone.

Whisper sees his change in posture and searches her memory then shakes her head. "No, I have not." She responded simply as she glances at her kill then back at the male standing in the opening of her den. She doesn't let her guard down as she cautiously watches him still.

He watches a moment longer, but it's clear that he won't be getting any lunch out of this encounter. With an irritable huff, the male turns away, tail flicking dismissively at the stranger. She'd been perfectly polite, of course, and it was his own manners that needed to be checked, but Revolver never bothered thinking about the facts unless they suited him.

"Have a good day, then," he grumbles, beginning to take his leave. He'd go and find his own rabbit - or someone who could be bullied into giving him a free meal.

"I hope you find whomever your looking for." Whisper says simply as she watched the male wolf depart and she laid down at ease and began to finish her dinner. Every so often however, she looked at the enterance just in case the male returned. Once she finshed, she curls up and tucks her tail in, so that she may stay warm through the night.
