She glanced once at the girl by her side; realizing she'd never gotten @Korei Julia 's name. It didn't matter now, when her friends may or may not be crow feed already. The sudden activity after so long travelling alone had the woman a little unsettled; more so than she would admit, but her howl was still steady as she tilted back her long muzzle and let slip the notes of summoning. These ones were specific; it was a healer she called after, and she could only hope that one existed here; and if so, they would be good enough to show their face to strangers.

Korei waited there with the wolf she'd just met, pain and misery tearing at her heart. She was missing Lennon and Alarian more and more. The wolf called, and she waited. The last time she had been aat a pack's borders...she had left them. "Please...please someone come" she whispered to herself, in an attempt to keep herself together.

Keoni extracted herself from near Steph; she'd been monitoring the girl's wounds and ensuring the dressings were kept fresh. The healer had poured all that she could into her first serious patient; who also happened to be her patient. She blinked, not recognizing the call for aid, but supposing it could be a new member she simply hadn't met yet. It did seem specific, after all, and thus she trotted out to meet is.

When she reached the source of the call did she falter, hackles shifting as she regarded the two strangers, none of them obviously injured. She stayed a fair distance back, staring down the two of them as she considered calling for her mother; but instead settled on waiting for an explanation.

The witch nudged gently the shoulder of her companion as the approach of a figure became obvious, the willowy woman watching carefully the face of the girl before them. She was youthful, speckled, scarred. An interesting combination, but the witch said nothing. The girl did not approach, obviously wary, she held back. Still, it was better than nothing. "we mean no harm," She called, making no move to broach the space between them.

"this girl's companions were hurt. I can not help them without herbs. can you help us?" She questioned, simply, calmness persevering still even though it seemed the last few events had been a whirlwind.

As soon as the other wolf with Korei had finished their words with the pack wolf, Korei attempted to plead with them, "Please...please help them. Anything that can help, it's all I ask...they are all I have..." She couldn't even raise her voice, her throat sore from having done so already so it came out as more of a squeak.

The girl's gaze flickered between them, taking in her request, and then the tearful face of Korei. Still, she seemed hesitant, though at least a little more receptive, her hackles flattening. She continued on, spurred by the girl's relaxing hackles. "perhaps we can help you in turn. we need borage, chervil, dandelion, poppy, and oak leaves. in return, we can help will your caches." The girl seemed a little more at ease, now, before carefully nodding and turning on her heel, disappearing back into the territory.

Feeling a little rush at the whirlwind of events, the witch offered a rare smile to the girl, reassurance painted on her face. She ought to offer reassurance, but, not knowing the state of the girl's companions, remained silent.

The girl returned swiftly, maw stuffed with all the herbs that Thelxiope had asked for, though a few looked out of place. Drawing near this time, the girl seemed a little bolder, dropping the herbs at her paws before making to glance at Thelxiope and carefully mouth words she struggled to read. Tail lashing, the girl tried again, and this time the message was clearer. come back.  Thelxiope dipped her muzzle in careful gratitude, quiet thanks on her lips. "thank you, kóri. we are grateful, and will return, I assure you."  She could already guess as the cause of the girl's silence, who, looking somewhat ill at ease, glanced to Korei once before turning on her heel and moving back into the territory. Pushing some of the herbs towards the girl and instructing her to "take these, and lead me to your friends," the woman carefully grasped the bundle the girl had provided, glancing back once before moving to follow Korei.

Korei Julia watched as the girl looked between them. She looked to the woman that helped her, and listened. That was quite the list. Then the silent girl disappeared. She wondered briefly why she had said nothing, but that was the furthest thing from her mind right now.

She glanced to the older female to see a smile on their face, and it somewhat reassured her that everything would be okay. The girl soon returned and Korei could not have been more grateful. She was even about to hug the girl, even stepping forward before putting her paw back.

"Thank you...thank you so much" she said to the girl. She turned to the female, then the herbs indicated and took them in her mouth, then she started to lead the way in a hurry.
