All Welcome
The last thing Fiadh remembered was running flat-out across the meadow, swearing to herself that she would never leave the Caldera's borders again. We all know that's a lie, because this is Finley's daughter we're talking about, but. Anyway. She was running with an immense buzzing bird in hot pursuit, and then she remembered nothing else.

When she woke up to a cold wind on her face, several sensations hit her at once. First was dizziness; her head swam as her eyes drifted in and out of focus. She tried to fix them on a bush several feet in front of her, but it felt like ages before her vision cleared up. When it did, she became aware of the second sensation, which was something like floating. She couldn't really feel her legs, and most of her body felt strangely light and absent. When she turned her head, the world seemed to whiz by at double speed, but at the same time, sounds came sluggishly to her ears.

Groaning, the Blackthorn tried to find her feet, staggered and fell down on limbs that wobbled like jelly, and that was when she became aware of the third sensation: something looped around her neck, uncomfortable and heavy. Fear shot through her in cold spurts, but at the same time, she caught sight of a wintering jay hopping across the ground, and her face broke into a huge grin because what she saw was a bird with dentures, and she blurted out, "you stole my teeth," and began to giggle uncontrollably.

@Tynee if you'd like!

I'm definitely up for it lol
She lumbered her way over the land, raising her snout occasionally to lazily sniff for rabbits. Nothing crossed her muzzle, so she continued over the white landscape, her breath a cloud if white silver for a moment before disappearing. Hearing groan, she stood up and looked around, her eyebrow quirked. Normally, this wouldn't interest her in the slightest, but she wasn't doing anything. It might give her something to do. She headed towards the noise, as the groan was broken by a weird chirping bird. It was this that interested her, not the owner of the groan that drew her to this peculiar scene. It sounded familiar to her.
Rising again on her back paws, the woman saw what looked like to be a messed up wolf. What the hell... The bear mumbled as she dropped to all fours and slowly made her way towards the wolfess. The bird sounded again, and she slightly jumped. Where the hell was that noise coming from? Catching sight of the collar, the grizzly started grinning then laughed, her burst rumbling over the land.
She sat down and began to speak with this odd girl. You got yourself caught by the strange, naked two legged creatures, girl. I've seen those things before. She gestured to the collar. How the hell did you get yourself into this? I don't know why I'm asking you this. You're so high, I bet you can't even remember your name. A look of amusement passed over her face as she grabbed her feet and rocked slightly, her eyebrow cocked, waiting for an answer.

The bird could sense that the wolf was out of sorts and not much of a threat, so although it took several alarmed hops away from her, it didn't fly away until a much larger and less addled predator showed up. Fiadh's head lolled over to the side, rolling on her thin neck in a fashion that suggested inebriation, and her eyes sought blurry focus on the approaching bear. She'd never seen one in real life. Finley was an alleged bear fighter and her fiesty daughter hoped to someday grow up to be just like her mama, but she didn't know if she was ready for it yet.

"Bear," she cried, "I love you. Pull my head off." With a wheezing giggle, Fiadh righted herself into a slouched sit, then unsteadily raised one of her hind feet and made an effort to scratch the weight on her neck. Her nails hooked against the thick leather band and then she froze when a little blip of sound came from the back of her neck. "Whawassat?" she asked, turning her head slowly but failing to catch sight of the offending receiver.

The bear was saying a lot of incomprehensible things while this was happening—something about newts and how she got into one, but Fiadh couldn't remember being naked with a newt, so what the fuck bear?—and then mentioned her name. "Princess Fizzywinkles," she said with a dopey grin. "Buh you can call me Fizzywinkles." She reached up to paw at the heavy collar again, grunting.

As she rocked in amusement, the wolfess lolled her head, and the sight made a laugh escape from the bear. This was definitely more amusing than wandering around. The girl focused on her, or at least looked like she tried. At her next words, the woman's mouth flew open as a full blown laugh erupted from her throat, wrapping her arms around herself as she tried to breathe. This girl was so high, she probably didn't know if she was coming or going.
As the wolfess rose unsteadily to sit up, the bear's laugh settled down. The sight of her trying to get the collar off sobered her just a little. Her voice was still amused, yet it held a bit of compassion. Girl, that thing ain't coming off until they come back, sorry to say. The wolfess looked confused for a moment, but then spoke again. Tynee raised both of her eyebrows and grinned widely. This girl was completely high as the clouds, and the sight was amusing. Deciding to play along, the bear dipped her head as if to bow and spoke. Well, your highness, you've got yourself into a mess. How do you plan on getting that thing off?

What the bear said was completely logical, sensible, and comprehensible. What Fiadh heard, however, was Guuuuurl, did you see Tina with Andy at the bar on Saturday? and she hiccoughed and asked, "whassa bar?" before breaking down into a fit of giggles. "Bear, did you see Tina? Jenny's gonna be soooOOOO mad!"

God, where was she? She lifted her hind leg to scratch again, but found that the world careened to the side, and next thing Fiadh knew, she was on her side on the ground, snorting with laughter again. The bear asked what she was going to do. She puffed out her cheeks and claimed, "dance party, DUHHH," before wiggling pathetically in place, tail swinging. "C'mon, bear!" urged Fiadh as she bopped along to some unheard tune in her head.

Oh, good gods. This woman was completely out of it. Her head tilted in confusion as she watched the wolfess...dance? on her side? And who the hell were Tina and Jenny? Shaking her head, she chuckled deeply, the giggles of the other contagious. She had no idea what she was talking about, and she highly doubted the wolfess did either.
She made a move to leave, but looked back as she heard her giggle again. If she left her like this, she would probably lay there and giggle to death. Sighing, she lumbered over and swatted at her, her voice firmer this time. Hey, snap out of it, Giggle girl. You got a home to go to to sleep this off?

At some point in her dancing, Fiadh lifted one of her paws to the sky and captured her own attention with it. Had she always had five toes? What was that one on the side for? She twisted her foot back and forth, then turned her head sidelong and pressed her muzzle into the ground so she could regard the bear. What a delightful bear.

"Hawk Calred Era," she said with a muffled giggle. No, no, that was all wrong. "Calhawk Redra," she tried again, then shook her head and cried out, "oh, bear, I can't talk, I swallowed my tongue!"

Oh, boy. The wolfess was now staring at her paw as if she had never seen one before. Slapping her paw to her face, the bear held it there for a moment. What the hell was she supposed to do with this amusing but completely messed up girl? She couldn't take her home. Chuckling wryly, she shook her head. The girl couldn't even say the name, much less directions to where she lived. She supposed she could keep her company until she was at least coherent enough to talk straight.
Deciding that's what she would do, she might as well try to make her laugh until it wear off. Her eyes sparkling, she sat in front of the wolf. Now, let's see if Tynee can help the princess. Since I saw your tongue when you opened your mouth, I can assure you that you still have a tongue in your mouth. Now that we have that resolved, let's see if we can figure out where you live. You said ‘Hawk Calred Era’ and ‘Calhawk Redra’...at least that's what it sounded like.
She rubbed her paws together, a thoughtful look on her face. Giving the wolfess a grin, she nodded, raising an eyebrow. Now if you hear the right name, you just stop me, ok? Redra Era Calhawk? Era Redra Hawkcal? Hawk Era Calredra? Redera Calhawk? She quirked her eyebrow at the wolfess, a smile on her face. Any of those work?

Sorry to cut this one short, just trying to wrap up some threads and this seems an okay place to fade it!

"Reaaaaally?" the dopey Fiadh murmured, unconvinced. She wrung her tongue against the roof of her mouth, but it felt out of place and strange. Surely something had changed about it? She stuck it out for the bear to inspect, but Tynee had already moved on to offering suggestions of names. Fiadh slowly shook her head to all suggestions, getting distracted more than a few times by the collar 'round her neck, but eventually they managed to get the real name of the pack down, and with a great deal of effort, the bear escorted Fiadh back to the caldera.
