As she spoke, the wolfess reacted negatively, and Dakini stepped back, wondering what she did wrong this time. Swishing her tail, her feet moved her slim body back a few steps. Maybe too close? She tilted her head as the wolfess shook her coat out, and a small smile graced her features.
The woman was beautiful, but wary, and she wondered what had happened in the past to make her this way. Sitting down, she relaxed, wrapping her tail around her feet. Her eyes caught hers for a moment, then she looked away, her features softening as she looked towards the sea, her voice in awe. It's beautiful, isn't it? The crashing waves over top, the calm quiet underneath, yet the waters underneath are the most dangerous, pulling us in deeper the moment we least expect it.
