She was exhausted. Without much preamble she'd been resting with the sun shining on her back, trying to calm herself, trying not to think. Life was easier that way, although it rarely actually worked out in her favor. When the coup had happened and her parents murdered the new Alpha's had set into her siblings. The ones that fought back were viciously struck down and the rest like her had been dispersed into the winds. She'd ran until she physically couldn't anymore and that was how she found herself in the unknown meadow near trembling from the effort.

Her plan was simple; she had to find a new home for her own basic survival. It didn't matter what happened after that point she could, and would, start anew. She'd cried until she couldn't anymore over her lost family members and kept up the very basic hope that maybe she would see some of her siblings again. She was grateful for the warmth of the sun on her back - it was almost soothing. Eventually though, she knew she'd have to keep pressing on.

still traveling, tantalus kept himself sturdy. @Cyclone still clung to his heels and he found he appreciated her company. though she could be a bit loud and ... mmm, quite the opposite of what a lady should be, her personality was certainly out there-- and provided for a good bit of entertainment as they went. if anything, it was better than being left to sulk with his inner demons. being back in teekon made him think only of amara. the woman who left him. for who? for someone who had torn the throne from his own paws. how could she do that to him?

women were simply not to be trusted with anything.

and speaking of.

he spotted one down the meadow, it seemed she too was traveling-- or at least headed somewhere. aaron couldn't tell, it wasn't like she was advertising that information. but he was always down to learn something about someone-- make allies all over the map-- so he let out a low chuff, tail swinging low at his hocks to show that he was a friendly encounter.

Hunched over against the ground Tyne just waited. She wasn't looking for some outside influence to force her into action - that'd already happened - but what she wanted was just....just peace. This was peace. The sun on her back, the world quiet for a moment, all she had to listen to was the vague whisper of the winds through the grasses and then the chuff of - well, okay. Peace gone. Tyne pushed herself up gracefully and slowly met his eyes and offered a smile.

Outside, perfection, inside, a total and utter mess

If there was one thing she'd learned from her parents it was how to be and present herself. She was going to manage and she was going to look like she wasn't completely and utterly falling apart at the seams. She could do this. Polished. Perfect. Pristine. "Hello," She said with a bit of even a shine to her voice like she was excited and hadn't just been at the end of her emotional rope. "I apologize for not seeing you earlier." Although in reality Tyne had nothing to apologize for she'd fallen into some substate of just....everything needing to be perfect or else she would have crumbled to pieces at his feet. "I'm Tyne, it's a pleasure to meet you."
