All Welcome
Her way back from the southwestern reaches had been slow and methodical.  She stopped in many lands along the way, swinging by borders, sniffing at empty dens long abandoned.  There was no sign of him.  She'd been certain that by now Io would have gotten bored and left their last stopover before entering the Teekon Wilds.  And yet, there were no signs of him.  He wasn't in the packs, he hadn't stopped in the unclaimed lands recently.  Where was her brother?

The start of spring was still incredibly gloomy, there was still snow, it was still cold as she walked across the empty field.  Here the ground sloped downwards slightly, then up again a ways away.  Some sort of feature was here beneath the snow.  Maybe a brook or something that froze solid and was buried.  It was hard to tell, and Zenith wasn't in the mood to dig to find out.  In fact, she wasn't in the mood for much of anything, too busy wondering if her brother had outright abandoned her.

This was the only real place she hadn't checked, as far as she knew -- it was the only other way away from where they'd come from that hadn't been scouted out by her now-weary paws.  Winter had taken its toll on her, and despite her good start to the season, she was now far leaner than she was comfortable, pressing on with whatever she'd found for food and managing but not well.  Should she stop and wait?  Would he find her again if she just stopped for once and paused the quest, just for a little while?

And so she sniffed around, searching for a clue of something she was unlikely to find.  Where was Iovan?
