Whitefish River I see you

Unsure of whether they left or not yet. Can we say this was before leaving?

Dawn and Aditya had returned recently and so had Pema and Dauntless. He was aware that they would be leaving soon and so he was revisiting all the places that held memories for him here. 

He had gone to the stream where a crawfish had attacked him, to the fields populated by sheep that him and dad had hunted, and now he was heading to the frozen river where he had met the interesting girl he played with.

As he approached the river he wasnt expecting her to actually be there, but sure enough there she was.His tail began to wag slowly and he let out a friendly bark in greeting, ears perked as he watched her.
