All Welcome
Ironsea crew AW

Her stomach growled again, yet she ignored it, the cold water just below her belly. Swiveling her ears forward, she tilted her head, watching the movement of the slick creatures. She had done this before, yet it had been awhile, and the previous time, the water hadn't been cold. Her tail floated in the water, the girl not moving.
Suddenly a yelp came out of her, and she spun quickly, her tail now out of the water. Something had bit it. She huffed, her eyes bright with agitation. Watching the water, she murmured softly, Hijo de puta. Determination showed in her eyes, minutes passing slowly. She wanted that fish, and somehow she was going to get it. Pricking her ears forward, she focused again, this time keeping her tail above the water.

It had been a while since she'd visited the water itself and she found herself yearning to get her paws wet and Sandy. She walked along the edge of the water at first, not noticing the female swimming a little ways from the shore. As the waves crept back up the shore line and touched her paws she gave a small yip of surprise at the coldness and pranced away. At that moment she heard the yelp and lifted her head, ears perked as she scanned the water and spotted the female.

Curiously she watched her swim around, realise she was fishing and lowering her haunches to the ground. She remained silent, not wanting to startle the fishes away and anger the female.

With a wiggle of her haunches, the girl's eyes were glue on to the backs of the shiny slippery fish as she darted her head into the water, soaking to up behind her ears. So very cold. Yet triumph flowed through her as she felt her teeth meet her mark and coughing, she pulled her drenched head out of the icy depths and wrestled with a fish almost as long as she was. It flopped and almost got away once when it hit her across the head, making her ears rings.
Blinking, she growled slightly as she shook her head hard while fighting her way up to the beach without getting hit again. Maybe she needed a rock. As her feet touched solid land, she tossed the big fish on to shore and watched as it flopped a minute before leaping on to it and crushing it's spine with a sharp hard crunch. Only then did she realize her company, and jumped slightly before stepping her foot on the fish and looking up smiling. Well, hello there. What's your name?

She watched with an impressed gaze as the female wrestled determinedly with what seemed a very large fish. It was with concern that she stood up when the slippery critter slapped the stranger across the head, jaws parted to call out. Then everything was back under control and the fish was suddenly thrown quite near her, causing her to leap back with surprise.

She stared at the she wolf for a moment as she killed off the fish and then gave a startled leap away as if she hadn't seen her. Jeez she must have been really focused. Not wanting to be impolite she stepped forward again with a small wag of her tail "Awinita, what's yours?" she asked curiously. Then unable to help herself she smiled and motioned to the fish "Amazing catch. You must do well in the water" she complimented earnestly.
