All Welcome
The time had come.

Northerly winds drew up the warmth from long forgotten locales of milder climates and now the sun seemed to break through less persistent clouds on a regular basis. The world had awoken to chatter once more; all promising signs that winter was swiftly on its way out at long last. Where relief should have flooded him he found budding anxiety, anxiety of which seemed at its highest in recent days over his impending departure. He had filled the void in between by rounding up final tokens to offer by way of hares to caches, but had otherwise sequestered himself away.

But once again that anxiety had climbed when he decided the time was now, and hesitantly had squandered a bit of the morning just beyond Moonspear's borders on how to summon @Hydra. With all that had come to pass since his offer, he wondered if she would still hold interest in joining him. The upheaval since Rannoch et al's departure had soured things, that much he was aware, and he suspected the coming of his own would do little to soothe tempers. If anything, at least he could claim he had kept his word; Dirge had pulled his weight and had not strayed. His gaze travelled what length of the open trail through the terrace he could see and here felt that familiar pull to go, as indescribable to him as it were.

His mouth set into a hard line for the longest time, drawing in the warmth of a long missed sun in quiet debate. He could not put it off another day, at least he could not will the desire to stay instead of roam any longer. Finally his head tipped up and he summoned her, certain the wind would favor his voice and pull her to him. He hoped she would come steadfast, wanting his time left lingering there no longer than he had already made it out to be. The day was young still and with many miles ahead before they would reach the coast, there not question he wanted to make the most of it.
