All Welcome
this was familiar. tantalus knew this place as soon as they entered it. the caldera was up northwest of here, and though he'd spent very little time at the caldera, it was enough time to recognize the surrounding territories. the meadow was nice but... it wasn't good enough, and there were too many neighbors. tan gave a heavy huff, hot air billowing around his muzzle, nose twitching as he paused mid stride to evaluate the land. he looked to @Cyclone, who was hovering (as always), ears angled towards her. "we are going to keep moving western," he told her simply, and waited for her to catch up to him, "how are you fairing? the weather is not kind today." and it was true, the coming days would bring a storm, though tantalus would try to power through it. that is, of course, if cyclone would allow it.

Cyclone didn't pay much attention to the weather, but it was impossible to ignore that the chill had left the air. She was fine with this, but something about it bothered Tantalus for some reason or another. She had no idea why he was complaining about it, saying that the weather was unkind today. "It's not so bad," she said, bright and chipper as always.

Ever since meeting Tantalus, she had decided that there was nowhere else she'd rather be. Being around him gave her something to focus on, which was more than she'd had in a very long time.

Golden light filtered through the sheet of gray hiding the cerulean sky, kissing the fae's flaxen pelt. Feyre stood out against the grayscale landscape, a dot of honeyed color. Except for her paws, which were covered in dried mud, she was more presentable then she had been since the first thaw. This laced her with a confidence she had forgotten, drove her to pad out on to the open terrain versus hiding in the shadows of the treeline.

One mitt before the other, two steps in one breath.

That had been her pattern for hours, until she saw the two figures. One with a creamy agouti pelage, and one with a pelt of obsidian. The dove stood frozen in place, their mummered words riding on the wind towards her. The fae waiting until they no longer spoke, then padded into hearing range, making certain that she was still far enough away that she did not spook them. A small breath, one to calm the fluttering in her chest, before she spoke. "Hello there?" It was a respectful greeting, not too friendly, not too cold. Yet, she still added that small, inviting curve of her maw to be sure.

she seemed fine-- a surprising thing to the pale man, she was hardier than most women were. but he respected it-- so long as she was okay to keep moving... so was he. he gave her a broad smile, nose dipping. "what a delight you are, cyclone," he purled, and then motioned for them to move forward-- only slowing when another pale figure entered his line of sight. interesting. she was pale, almost a golden tone beneath the few beams of light that flickered through the blanketed sky. but she was filthy. scoff.

but tantalus regarded her same as he did everyone, his ears pricked and a kind smile on his own face. she called out to him first-- females in the teekon wilds were so forward, he'd forgotten that-- and he dipped his nose gently. "hello," he returned, blue eyes watching her, "are you alright?" surely a female so poorly groomed was not fairing well on her own. he did not look to cyclone to gauge her reaction.
