All Welcome
Today she and @Reed were taking stock of the plant life surrounding their little hovel on the island. Still Hemlock did not know where the scent of wild hemlock had come from; the dream she'd dreamt of Lotte had been so very real. She'd even woken with her hair a wild mess as if her beloved had teased her into a frenzy. It had seemed so real, but, she could not dwell too much on it, Lotte's words ringing in her ears making her blood pound whenever she got too caught up in it. She missed Lotte the most of her life in Teaghlaigh, and there was never any lack of stories for Reed or Droman when they requested them.

Today she'd watched her boy go off to explore the shores again but she'd asked her girl if she was interested in learning about the herbal life of the island. The sooner that Hemlock established a cache and prepared for any catastrophes, the sooner she'd feel better.

Trade thread for both of us? ♥

Coelacanth was, in fact, engaged in a hearty game of chase with Droman; and their sprightly cavorting led them coincidentally further inland to Hemlock and Reed. “Hello!” chirped the sheepdog in the only way she could, stopping on a dime even as the gangly Guppy collided with her hindquarters, her forepaws dancing a joyous tattoo upon the soft loam as her Neptune eyes crinkled and her feathered tail swayed. Tipping her head to one side, then the other, like a curious bird, the Aralez inquired as to what Hemlock and Reed were up to. A soft, airy whine spilled from her lips as she leaned forward in a perhaps too overfamiliar greeting; if Hemlock allowed it, one feathered cheek would rub against the spur of the wisewoman’s shoulder before mirroring the behavior to young Reed. A tactile, affectionate creature, Coelacanth did not stop to think that perhaps restraint was best; she and Hemlock were packmates, and that was reason enough for her!

Hemlock accepted the sheepdog’s company with her usual grace, and together with Reed and Droman, the medicine woman and her aspiring apprentice roamed the island seeking out water sources and plant life. Coaltree Rise was the obvious choice, but there was a wealth of herbal remedies to be found in the wooded skirts of Skybowl and even Morningside Moor. At the end of the day, the quartet was dirty and tired, but felt they had grown closer to each other and to the island.
