the morning dawned silently, the birds made mute through the thick fog that had come to veil the land. the sun, too, rose in a markedly dull affair; only the faintest hints of pastel glinting against the grey sky. it seemed fitting a day for the girl to make her realization; her friend had surely been lost. it was a darker and a drearier world without togo, and a markedly more empty one. once, her friend might have greeted her with a hushed, elaborate description of the world as it woke around them, bringing with her words some form of sight to the sylph.

and so there was only grey silence to meet the girl when she woke; for togo's voice had carried with each word and each note the colours she was made blind too. carefully did she slip from her hiding-place, the same one they'd used when, together, they'd passed through here weeks ago. cloudy eyes turned skyward once, nose moving to catch all the notes of scent in the hopes that among them, there would be one familiar.

Easy had remained behind in Easthollow to learn something from Valette but Sunny  decided to head back home. On rhe return journey he decided to return back to one particular area he hadn't taken the chance to admire before. He was surprised in finding the fog that hovered over the ground made the normally beautiful greens duller and less pretty to look at, spooky even. As he drifted through the fog he bumped into another body and gave a startled grunt, jumping back. He turned to face her and his breath left his lungs almost instantly. Upon first glance her eyes and fur were strikingly similar to Keoni. "No...no.."he murmured as his heart squeezed. He had just got done saying goodbye to her grave,  how could she be here right in front of him?

Then the fog around them seemed to part and he realized she was actually quite different. Not as dark in coloring but the eye color...the eyes were what hurt his heart. "I'm sorry ma'am I didn't mean to bump you" he finally spoke, voice shaky as he tried to recover from his fright.
