All Welcome
for reference http://www.lovethispic.com/uploaded_imag...-Ocean.jpg perhaps @Arturo or @Foxglove. Someone she hasn't met yet?

She went from the woods straight to the sandy beach shores, her breath immediately catching in her throat at the stunning sight before her. The skies were red and blue and a shade of purple she'd never seen before. It reflected off the water in a palette of colors that left her in awe, standing there in the red tinted sand looking like a dazed pup.

She walked toward the water's edge and let it lap at her paws, the cool breeze blowing her thick white pelt around and giving her a small chill. The beauty of the sight made her relax and as she stared she began to think. How would she begin to contribute here? She was an adequate huntress, she could swim well enough to probably hunt sea prey too. Perhaps that's what she would aim for at the moment, she'd provide food for the hungry members of the crew.

If Awinita was on the lookout for hungry team-members, then she had come to the right place. Because Foxglove's recent scavenging ventures had ceased to be as lucky as they had been before. She had no idea of how tides worked or, how all of the trash and sea-weeds came to be on the shores, all she cared that they were there, providing her daily activity and offering bad meals at best of times and none at the worst. Now, after a storm that had raged in the area, the shores had been swept clean and nothing of importance and interest had showed up during the last few days.

Therefore - though far from being very desperate and miserable, but against he better judgement and chosen way of life - she decided to see, if other pack mates were of any use. And luck would have it that she would not have to go out look for them herself - one with a white coat had just arrived at the beach and Foxglove went over to greet her.

Just as she was thinking about hungry crew members, one of them showed up. The woman was an unknown face to her but held the stench of the territory and others on her fur to soothe the suspicion that she was an intruder. Knowing this was a fellow crewmate Awinita stood up and greeted the interesting furred woman with a friendly wag, her posture relaxed. "Hello! I'm Awinita, we haven't met yet have we?" she asked, wondering if  by chance she had forgotten. Then again she was quite sure she would remember someone who looked so interesting, not ugly but it was definitely quite the pattern. After a moment of what could possibly be rude staring Awinita decided the female was quite pretty.

If Foxglove had given a damn about looks, then she would have been amused by the other's assumption of her being pretty. The coloring was unusual - yes, but besides that extraordinary feature there was nothing much to like about the scrawny thing. Had she had some sort of inner glow that would radiate through, things might have been different. But at this point Foxglove was just wretched on the outside than she was on the inside.

Awinita. Out of a pool of unneccessary words Foxglove had fished out the important one - she would recall her packmates name, even if she would never utter it out loud. The rest of the sentence was forgotten in an instant and common courtesy was not something the wolf-dog was accustomed to. Therefore she made her intentions clear in other ways, by looking expectantly at the other's face, walking around and sniffing the ground and then casting a glance over at the ocean first an then back at the forest. She was in search for food and was waiting to see, if her packmate had any clues to solve the hunger problem.
